14/10/2004 13:16 | Alfwilson, Thanks. You had to do your own research to get to it ; was wondering if it was mentioned anywhere thats all. | amarcou
14/10/2004 13:10 | Noticed the two big buys within mins off each other delayed from this morning but the price is unaffected...stakebu | mitzis
13/10/2004 17:22 | alfwilson, You are very welcome. I am sure it will turn out to be a worthwhile investment. Where did you come across them as a matter of interest? | amarcou
13/10/2004 11:04 | amarcou Thanks for you considered and what seems a very fair assessment of the known facts. I am persuaded ... and have dipped my small toe with 3000 @120.5p today, but fully expect to increase holding as further news becomes available. Alf | alfwilson
08/10/2004 17:08 | Thanks for that Andre...just noticed the dividend paid into my account the other week.. | mitzis
08/10/2004 15:26 | Mitzis, As I said earlier the compnay was good value at 80p given its 2003 results. Now with the increase in t\o,margins,profitab Clearly the company has to be regularly assessed and reassessed and it would be wrong not to do that regularly. It is likely that the stake may be increased dependent on results and assessments. | amarcou
08/10/2004 14:56 | Are you going to increase your stake in the future Andre..? | mitzis
07/10/2004 14:52 | Andre ..I see you own over 3% of the company..well done... | mitzis
05/10/2004 21:48 | Stan, I take your point and have seen some really silly forecasts and people coming up with prices which are not justified on other BB's. I really believe this share to be grossly undervalued on the basis of EPS,NAV,yield basis etc etc. Yes its a small company but even last year it had net current assets of over £2m. I can write on this over the next day or so when I have all my papers with me. And I am a shareholder since the beginning of this year and has topped up recently. | amarcou
05/10/2004 21:44 | Guru11, Agreed with you but the MM's dont make it look like a sell; its timing of reporting, spread at the time etc. I dont believe its done on purpose by ADVFN but the computers sort them that way. | amarcou
05/10/2004 18:21 | If they show the 8k as a sell, others watching the trades screen that think it was a sell, may be persuaded to sell their holding as well, and if the MM are short of stock, it makes it better for them. This has to be a strong hold, with further upward potential. | guru11
05/10/2004 18:07 | well this is all getting a bit too technical and detailed for me now cos i don't have the time or the inclination to look at every trade and what effect it has on the price. Anyway amarcou, just to say that i am a shareholder and have been since last year sometime so sitting on an excellent paper profit and just as excited to see the price rise as anyone here. I always like to temper that excitement by trying to take a bit of a pessimistic view when my stocks have risen to such a great extent so quickly and when everyone else on the bulletin boards is getting so excited and pumping out all the heady forecasts. It's not very clever on my behalf come to think if it and i sometimes feel ashamed but i don't like wild enthusiasm very much and so must apologise if it offends anyone. That said, I do remember a few years back when hdt put out a very bullish trading statement prior to the year end results saying that the figures would be well ahead of expectations...which in fact they were and the share price shot up accordingly to above where it is today. Then before you knew it along came a profit warning and the price collapsed and was in the doldrums for yonks falling to the low 30's at one period. Hence my caution for this stock. I sincerely hope that things are different this time round for obvious reasons but I do like to point out that things can go wrong with such companies...just for my own psychological pleasure really and to try to stop others...and probably myself from becoming too irrationally exhuberent. well enough waffling and fingers crossed eh! stan. | stan
05/10/2004 18:00 | Very tightly held; but the regular buying with little bursts is interesting for a tiny stock that gets no publicity at all and very few have ever heard of. | barnetpeter
05/10/2004 16:48 | Well, the "T" trade was also a buy IMO; certainly at 126p. In fact it may explain WINS tick down first thing which clearly didnt work hence the only buy was the 10,000 which WINS may have had to hand. It looks to me both MM's are now seriously short of stock. Comments? | amarcou
05/10/2004 13:44 | Search me..! | mitzis
05/10/2004 11:28 | Looking better!! The 8,000 was not a sell; it was a buy. At 8.06 the spread was 122-127 and the trade was 126.38p so it must have been a buy. The spread of 122-127 was there from 8.05am to 8.51am. So why did WINS tick down? | amarcou
05/10/2004 10:27 | Can only buy 1000 on-line but sell 3000..124/131p. | mitzis
05/10/2004 08:54 | Marked down 1.5p and now up 1.5p.I can buy 2000 shares no problem but nothing more. | mitzis
05/10/2004 08:19 | For anyone who hasn't already checked out the Innobox story, now's your chance. Up 25% already today, expect another 25% easily. Will still be below NAV. | ino results today
05/10/2004 08:13 | Morning all, Is it 6 times NMS or more that is delayed by a couple of hours? I.e. 6,000 or more shares? We should know by 10ish why WINS ticked down. | amarcou
05/10/2004 07:21 | amarcou - 4 Oct'04 - 21:07 - 312 of 315 edit A REPLY WOULD BE APPRECIATED SO THAT A BALANCED VIEW IS KEPT ON THIS BB Stan, The rest have saved me doing any detailed calulations. Even your 12.6p EPS on a PE of 12 gives over £1.50; I make the EPS at least 13p and on a PE of 12 get my £1.55 NOW and on 16p next year more like £2. AND THESE ARE VERY CONSERVATIVE. 6.2P IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS WAS WEAK. 8P OR EVEN 9P IS MORE LIKELY MAKING A POSSIBLE 14P 0R 15P THIS BECOMES 168P TO 180P NOW. As your sharpish fall for tomorrow the T trade was worked DURING the day; ie its all in the price now. Yes, there may a profits warning but this may apply to any listed company; to me it looks unlikely. Are you a shareholder? "You think a fairer value should be 100p".Can you tell us why you think that? I think it should be 155p NOW and around the £2 early next year and based it on the company's profits. AND THAT IS A VERY REALISTIC ASSESSMENT; READ THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE HALF YEAR AGAIN. | amarcou
04/10/2004 23:42 | Apologies accepted footrot...and your last statement was much more reasoned and credible. I do honestly hope that the company can produce sustained earnings growth in the future with good cash generation, and if that does turn out to be the case then the shares could indeed be seen to be good value even now after a very sharp rise. Regards | stan
04/10/2004 22:00 | Stan I mislead without meaning to earlier I was not at home, thus without my ACTUAL figures for expected profit etc. I took the figure for 19p from amarcous profit of £800k for the year, non adjsuted and therefore higher than you may expect, and i concur in that i have seen a more modest 16p for NEXT year. Which puts my figures somewhere between the unlikely and the ramping. Apologies. I fully agree with you in that there is every chance of a small problem escalating to a large problem in a company with such a low capitalisation. However, taking into account the growth (see recent rns) by acquisition, and organically, i would still think these were fairly valued on forward PE over 10. Perhaps £2 is ambitious until evidence is seen of cash generation, but i have looked pretty hard to find decent growth in relatively safe sectors and this was one of the best i could do. Again, sorry if i appeared to mislead 'footrot' | wal footrot
04/10/2004 21:57 | Thanks for all the info posted today. Looks like this share could go much further. 152p looks quite realistic. 75k sell was a T trade today, after a start of constant buying. Looks like end price today was 123 / 127p. Am a holder myself, bought in after results. | guru11 |
