Well,

Year end officially out now.

Lets see what the company has achieved; going by past RNS's nothing is expected till end of February or early March.

I just had a look back at the interims. They look good, except I worry a bit about the outlook statement:

'Provided that we do not experience more serious supply shortages than those
which we encountered in the first half, we expect to maintain the improved sales performance in the second half with the benefit of the lower cost base being maintained.'

Does anyone know any more about the supply shortages that are referred to? and whether they have been likely to improve/deteriorate.

MJ

Alfwilson,

No idea at the moment.

There may have been bigger trades ( sells) which have not yet being reported.

We should know within the hour about any sells.

Otherwise when no trades take place for a while the MM's have a tendency to mark down a bit to generate interest.

Actually the sell that followed confirmed it.

RTD are really motoring ahead!!

I checked the 5,000 and I think it was a buy.

Put a dummy order now for 5,000 and I got 1.1919 which suggests to me the earlier trade was a buy.

DJ,

Any "T" trades I have ever done were reported at the end of the day. For example if I said I wanted to sell say 10,000 they agree how much they can take there and then and work the rest in the market. At the end of the day the broker rings back to say if the order is completed in full or in part.

If in part you need to put another order the following day.

For Institutions an order may be filled by an MM "unoficially" hence you see a trade for 000's going straight without ticks once the MM has gone sufficiently long to fulfill the order.

All these IMO.

Not sure that that counts, M: it's a T trade (single protected transaction) and could have been in progress for some time:

"'T' If reporting a single protected transaction.
A protected transaction occurs when a large order is going through the market. The buyer (or seller) may wish to keep the order anonymous from the rest of the market as the size of the order could greatly alter the price of the stock. With a protected transaction, the dealer will put the trade through in small quantities rather than knock the whole order out in one hit. The entire transaction is reported once the deal is completed. The LSE is notified at the start and at the end of the transaction. However, the market as a whole isn't told until the end, thus the order is protected."

Mitzis,

Morning to you.

This will go up if there is more buying.

Activity on the board suggests that more people are sniffing around so it is possible to slowly push up.

Time will tell;LOL!!

But you may be right.

There is more activity on the board to start with.
