10/3/2005 13:42 | Wot, a year later? LOL! | call-logger
10/3/2005 13:36 | EDITED: Because I appear to be a tad on the Homer Simpson side today. | mad4it
10/3/2005 12:59 | Also, with a yield of around 5.5% this share offers a good return (better than most bank accounts). Just got to hope it does not fall any further ;-) | britishbear
10/3/2005 11:51 | amarcou - decided to try and catch it anyway but am wearing gloves so only gone in small. Note: my guess is that the 81.5p's are BUYS ;-) | britishbear
10/3/2005 11:32 | British Bear, Cannot agree more. Always best to let the dust settle. | amarcou
10/3/2005 11:29 | Gulp - anyone lost some fingers? | britishbear
10/3/2005 09:52 | This knife is falling - tempted to catch it at some point but would rather wait until it has fit the floor. Need to be careful on topping up imo - make take a few days for the dust to settle. | britishbear
09/3/2005 12:49 | Glad to hear that am..and good luck with your top-up.. | mitzis
09/3/2005 09:44 | Mitzis, I am holding and happy to top up under 100p; as I said net assets are over this and I am happy to wait for better days. No doubt others will be attracted by the yield and high net asset per share. EDIT: In fact there are buys coming in now nibbling around 93p; I reckon the 2,300 at 8.58am is also a buy. Total buys so far around 10k. | amarcou
09/3/2005 08:42 | I'm still holding how about you am.... | mitzis
09/3/2005 08:41 | I only have a few thou left nowadays but you cannot sell a share. Offers of around 70p. | barnetpeter
09/3/2005 08:25 | Clearly not what we wanted to hear in the outlook. However net assets of £4.7m on 4.144m shares gives net assets per share of £1.13p and a good yield until the Chinese market opens up. Worth holding IMO. | amarcou
09/3/2005 08:22 | As expected - the 12% fall was never going to be enough with these results. Watching carefully. | britishbear
09/3/2005 08:12 | and........"position will ease. The planned expansion in China, whilst potentially of considerable benefit when completed, will not yield immediate benefits to offset what is likely to be a challenging year for the group." | lex1000
09/3/2005 08:09 | This bit has spooked the market.... "Trading in the current year has generally been somewhat below the levels we experienced in the second half of last year and the first quarter is well below the first quarter of last year and, at present, there are no signs that this position will ease. " | tonyx
09/3/2005 08:09 | mitzis - are you reading the same results as me - these are terrible results - look at the forward looking statement - Q1 a disaster, problems in China and problems with one of their recent aquisitions. They also say they can't see this problems easing short term. I am actually surprised they have not fallen further. Expect a bigger drop. The growth story has gone although the yield is still attractive. | britishbear
09/3/2005 08:09 | Have you actually read the results? Read the outlook statement. | mustbefunny
09/3/2005 08:07 | marked down and now the biggest loser since the open....must be something wrong..? | mitzis
09/3/2005 07:12 | Finals out today look great.. Turnover up 10% Profit of 800k Dividend inreased by 10%... "We are now ne of the biggest distributors of supplies to the European pcb industry..". | mitzis
08/3/2005 17:36 | Bit of activity today so the finals are not too far away Mis Chief.....heres hoping for a great rns tomorrow. | mitzis
08/3/2005 13:48 | Results tomorrow acording to the company website. | miss chief
01/3/2005 11:34 | Final were out 9th March last year so they should be out sometime next week..I would expect a bit of buying before then..! | mitzis
05/2/2005 21:10 | Sorry Barnetpeter, Let me explain.Apologies to all for O\T. I read a post on the RTD board from Mitzis hence my post here. I have been in and out of RTD since they were 3p. It was their huge volatility that got me to look for shares like HDT in the first place. Gone in last year around the 80p mark and above. RTD's business has changed substantially and they have won recently clients such as Travelocity,Finnish Line,M&S and a few weeks ago Federated Stores. The litigation was started by Cybersource ( a US competitor) after they lost key people and clients to RTD. It now transpires that there was prior art re the patents and there may be no case to answer. In fact the US patent office are now looking at this. We recently had Goldman Sachs disclosing a notifiable interest and the company announcing that their results will be materially ahead of expectations. And yesterday LSE announced that RTD is being admitted to Techmark 100 as of Wednesday 9th February. So the set up is materially different from last year IMO. | amarcou
05/2/2005 12:46 | A Yes RTD get a write-up in the FT today under the 3 shares to watch..I am not a holder but wished I had bought into their latest run..well done for holding anyway..I prefer Holders in any event and have built up quie a holding(no pun intended)..as BP has stated its a well run family business with hopefully excellent results due next month.I agree with BP they are undervalued and should be trading at a much higher level..cheers. | mitzis |
