27/6/2007 08:36 | Just so, pf. I can scarcely claim to have been positive on the stock and indeed had alread mentally written it off. Don't blame the mms. They're there to make turn from buying & selling, not to get stuck long or short. The 'real' spread is often much less, unless you're looking to deal at the nms, where they need a bit of protection. If there is demand, they'll respond appropriately but it will always be a widish spread, as by its nature thinly traded. Fancy a few @ 2.25p? | ladybird1
27/6/2007 08:26 | btw the Mms are not going to create any interest in this share with such a stupid spread..come on sort it out ! | pictureframe
27/6/2007 08:25 | Totally agree this is definately going places with this new team on board. I am pretty sure the company may get most of the money back from the theif, he is bound to have a property they can put a charging order over if they cannot garnishee a forced sale. The eastern tie ups could add significant revenues. Funny how you can change stance in a few weeks..I was full of doom & gloom and now extremely positive ;0) | pictureframe
27/6/2007 08:16 | Very pleasing. That nearly half a million quid has ben nicked from a business of this size is amazing. As Manders says, it does put a different perspective on trading. Like you, I cannot be other than delighted with the statement, and also in fact with the results from second half onwards. I shall stick with my holding, so the short term movements in the share price don't, I think, have much significance. | ladybird1
27/6/2007 07:46 | Back to at least 3p I think short term. The retail outlets is fantastic news & contracts being renegotiated. | pictureframe
27/6/2007 07:44 | results out, going forward this is looking promising....the previous theft is the only downer imho should see a bounce from here | pictureframe
25/6/2007 13:14 | The company added it will provide more information about current trading and prospects in the annual results to be published on or before June 29. | pictureframe
25/6/2007 12:00 | Here's hoping | marshalltronics
25/6/2007 11:39 | results due this week then | pictureframe
21/6/2007 17:53 | Ive just taken a look at these. Can't understand why the price isn't higher bearing in mind funding is in place. Results may shed light. Not me for the 100000 but I am considering a few. | boscolane2
21/6/2007 17:28 | Well I'm glad to see someone else is as foolhardy as me - 100,000 at 1.4. Anyone want to own up? | bungler
20/6/2007 18:59 | It's certainly not a share for trading Quepasa - but for the patient it's the purchase price not the spread that matters. Who cares what the selling price is if you're not intending to sell - so long as you're getting a bargain purchase price? The only important question for me is: will HRD be worth more than today's market cap of £2.86 million by this time next year? I think so - and clearly the people putting in £2.85 million yesterday do too. | bungler
20/6/2007 18:46 | i still bought..stuff the spread they are still a bargain | roverisback
20/6/2007 18:41 | the bid/offer spread makes the share impossible. Who wants to buy a share an immediately have a 33% paper loss. The mm's are really doing a great disservice to Hardy Amies. | quepassa
20/6/2007 16:34 | Thanks Bungler. Just got in. I certainly hope so. Keep the good work up M. | marshalltronics
20/6/2007 12:59 | There you go Marshalltronics - as you predicted - 2nd on the gainers board now....well done. Let's hope the second half of your prediction comes true and that buyers now climb on board.... | bungler
20/6/2007 11:50 | lol...being serious you have to laugh at that spread ! | pictureframe
20/6/2007 11:37 | LOL - it's working pictureframe- keep it up.... | bungler
20/6/2007 11:33 | THE MOST STUPID SPREAD ON THE STOCK MARKET ! | pictureframe
20/6/2007 08:55 | The spread also makes it virtually untradeable. | psolomons
20/6/2007 08:53 | Personally I think the MMS have screwed the interest in this share, the constant falls on little volume, in fact massive falls sometimes on ZERO volume will put people off investing imho.... | pictureframe
20/6/2007 08:50 | My broker says there has been some demand this morning but nothing showing yet. Must be you bungler ! I dont understand why the share isn't moving north. The new funding has secured the company for a couple of years. The interest rate is reasonable and although the full year figures are likely to dissapoint the future looks very promising. I supose promising futures need to be backed up with hard bottom line numbers. Either way I reckon now is the time to get in. Just imagine what a difference rolling out their own stores is going to make. Selling their ready to wear clothes in their own shops. Sounds good to me. IMHO. | psolomons |
