12/6/2007 14:06 | Marshall Thanks. It's kind of you. As you imply, more a homage to the old regime and the anniversay celebration at the V&A than reflecting current issues, but nonetheless agreeable. (I was tempted to say 'epitaph' rather than 'homage', but that would be churlish & - at least until there is news - premature.) As you say, 'Good Luck...'. | ladybird1
11/6/2007 18:39 | I do not know whether this is of interest to anyone, but I found these 2 new books from Hardy Amies on Amazon.co.uk ready for sale later on in the year. and Good luck to all who hold | marshalltronics
31/5/2007 10:53 | I must say I feel a bit tense of a morning when I log in to HRD, expecting the RNS. In fact it will just as likely drag on for some time yet and I suppose could as easily be the end of June, for example. Not much point in ringing the company as, after all, what could they could they say other than 'soon'? | ladybird1
30/5/2007 17:04 | Me too ladybird1 - your scenario looks distinctly possible. Being the eternal optimist though I will cling to my hope that this is being turned around on the quiet and that we will see 10 pence within 18 months. | bungler
30/5/2007 10:42 | Prevarication over publishing the accounts, in a company where there's unlikely to be any material problem over the actual figures, provisioning, etc., is usually a precursor of 'Oops!Sorry Chaps!'. My own guess is a sell-off into a company associated with the controlling shareholders, probably one that can use the tax losses, with current shareholders diluted to very little. This seems the most positive outcome. Difficult to see a better. I hope I prove a Jeremiah. | ladybird1
30/5/2007 09:11 | Hmmmm anyone else starting to worry about the results not being here yet?? | pictureframe
23/5/2007 21:58 | End of May getting a bit close? One tends to worry about the friday before bank holiday for bad news... | ladybird1
18/5/2007 08:51 | imho the company will start moving in the right direction, my only concern is lack of funds and what they do to increase. With the share price this low its not the right time to fund raise via share issue as existing shareholders will be wiped out imho. The comfort I have is the directors own a shedload of shares from higher up so its unlikely they would do this ;0) | pictureframe
18/5/2007 08:43 | Thanks for the note Ladybird. The woman who picked up the phone at Hardy Amies told me about the RNS timings, the rest is my speculation. I think it is pretty clear that the figures will be poor as the share price reflects, but the next 12 months could be very interesting indeed. As Nigel Brunning said in a recent letter to a shareholder this is definitely a good time to buy. (in my humble view of course !) | psolomons
17/5/2007 21:13 | psolomons None of my business but do take care. You seem to be quoting inside information. It could be true or wilfully misleading. In HRD's case I don't suppose anybody's really all that bothered and pious hope will not influence them, but nonetheless... | ladybird1
17/5/2007 13:50 | I have been told definitely within the next 2 weeks. Expect an RNS notifying the results date shortly. I reckon the numbers should be pretty horrid (as the current share price suggests) but am hoping the forward statement and plans for the future are very encouraging and optimistic. | psolomons
17/5/2007 13:00 | where are the bloody results | pictureframe
15/5/2007 16:31 | Probably very wise, Bungler | ladybird1
15/5/2007 15:53 | No not me this time I'm afraid ladybird1 - though am watching closely still. Think I'll probably wait until we have a chance to peruse the results before buying more | bungler
14/5/2007 18:52 | Another 50k for you today, Bungler? Well done whoever it is, anyway! | ladybird1
10/5/2007 10:58 | Might be worth asking the question at the next AGM - or perhaps more likely EGM....! | ladybird1
10/5/2007 09:37 | well if they dont own the property I bet the rent is costing £££££ thousands, do they really need to be in saville row? | pictureframe
04/5/2007 17:58 | In for a penny and all that ...that 50,000 buy at 1.3 is me again - the first time they've filled one of my limit orders. Mind you it's all money for old rope for the mms - 80,000 sell at 0.9. | bungler
04/5/2007 15:58 | Don't know but imagine not - Fixed tangible assets only 148k in 2004. I don't have audited hard copy final accounts for 2005 and the RNS gives no details, but freehold or leasehold property would have been shown separately. - The property assets would certainly have been revalued by now - transforming the BS! | ladybird1
04/5/2007 10:01 | do they own saville row? If they do thats got to be worth a fee ££ million | pictureframe
04/5/2007 09:27 | Agree not much point in selling now; must just wait & see. Given the continued dribble of sales, imagine the spread will widen downwards shortly anyway. | ladybird1
03/5/2007 19:23 | There are ways of raising money even if you dont have significant assets and without issuing more shares. Some of them are very creative. We shall see. I suspect the forward statement will be extremely positive and if the city can see past the published loss things could improve very quickly. | psolomons
03/5/2007 17:47 | I STILL HOLD | guythomas
03/5/2007 17:39 | I don't think we're far apart. Trouble is they have no assets to raise bank finance against and any other route would be terminal or at best a massive dilution for the existing shareholders. Conclusion....? | ladybird1 |
