29/1/2007 12:47 | Just seen the 2007 collection on the Hardy Amies web site. Quite stunning designs in my view. Some are not entirely my taste but it is a very impressive collection. Its what gives me full confidence in HRD. If you have a product and name of this quality, backed up by prudent management it has every chance of becoming a huge success. Nice tick up today too. | psolomons
24/1/2007 11:32 | There you go pictureframe! Bid price up. Your letter to the company was clearly received thia am! | ladybird1
22/1/2007 21:07 | The buy was after the bell so it might move the price tomorrow. I am taking a 12-18 month view and collecting a few on the way. Im sure that down the line we will all wish we had the chance to buy at 2p again. | psolomons
22/1/2007 16:22 | someone sell 20,000 and the price drops 18% someone buys 176,000 and price doesnt move. I will be writing to the company about their nomad | pictureframe
22/1/2007 13:44 | Can be moved DOWN by tiny trades but not up apparently!!! | damloy
20/1/2007 15:07 | This share is all over the place and can be moved by tiny trades. Roll on the final results to put a solid base under the s/p. | psolomons
19/1/2007 09:42 | All of £750 involved. Why don't we all pile in (£500 might qualify for this phrase here) buy 20 HA ties and hand them to men we know in the city (dresses for the ladies too?) and tell them to do the same. Or would this be trying to manipulate the market?! Look at their website. They have a male model smoking a cigarette and another playing tennis with something that looks a bit like my old Dunlop Maxply. With such a fantastic name there must be packets of room for growth, surely. | clusium
19/1/2007 08:25 | see what I mean !! | pictureframe
19/1/2007 08:25 | Looks like that last 50k (@1.5p - they were clearly glad to take an offer!) has cleared them out & we're back on the see-saw. | ladybird1
18/1/2007 16:48 | only a buy and it goes down? This has to be one of the most manipulated stocks listed | pictureframe
18/1/2007 14:01 | Looks like somebody bought most of the stock at 1.7p. Pattern seems to be as expected. | ladybird1
18/1/2007 08:51 | Down a bit more. Somebody ditched a few at opening or simply precautionary with the existing overhang? No doubt we'll find out during the course of the day. | ladybird1
17/1/2007 16:05 | Mms stuck with c60k shares @1.5p & no takers. I'm sure they'd take 1.8p if you felt it worthwhile? | ladybird1
16/1/2007 11:53 | a 50,000 sell worth £750 causes the price to drop. No wonder aim stocks are volatile. When buyers come into hrd, which they surely must, the price will move very quickly. Things might be a bit boring for the next couple of months though. | psolomons
16/1/2007 10:37 | A cheery bit of news on a wet morning - thanks! | ladybird1
16/1/2007 09:14 | I see Helen Mirren was wearing a Hardy Amies dress for the Golden Globes. Looked lovely. Lets hope she wears another for the Oscars and wins ! Great exposure for the company. | psolomons
12/1/2007 14:19 | Forgot it was yesterday - I live well away from London anyway. Otherwise, it would have been fun to go to 14 Saville Row. Main resolution the power to allot £1m nominal shares, previously discussed. Only other matter, of minor note, to change the auditors & appoint Baker Tilly. They are a respectable second tier firm, I imagine auditing other concerns of the new 'owners'. Makes sense, quite usual. Assume the resolutions passed - I voted for 'em; I doubt that my vote made all the difference! | ladybird1
12/1/2007 14:13 | I didn't go, wish I had. | psolomons
12/1/2007 13:43 | btw did anyone go to the agm yesterday? I didnt even know there was one !! | pictureframe
12/1/2007 10:32 | Having had the one line trading update in with the directorate news, it will, presumably, now go all quiet on the news front until the results are published. Presently a bit early in the new regime, I suppose, for much to be reported and we must hold ourselves in patience till the spring. Assume we shall get details of any fund raising proposed at the same time; they will need firm figures and a bit of trading history to support it. In the meantime, I imagine the 40% spread will stay and likely the old pattern of a few sellers, weakening price, the odd opportunist buy. Been nice to have a bit of excitement, tho'! See you in 3 or 4 months, chaps? | ladybird1
12/1/2007 09:56 | yes, MMs should have the courage to raise the bid. The update clearly shows that hrd are making really good progress. The full year figures should be greatly improved on last year so i dont think they should have any worries that people will be getting out at this stage. If holders can hang on for 12 months my guess is they will be rewarded. DYOR of course. | psolomons
11/1/2007 17:41 | I have been with Hardy for years and to start with I was not close enough to daily share to watch trends and apply stop losses etc. Too busy working!! So, to my shame I am owning up to a 97% loss on my original investment. I did howver resist the pressure sale some years ago when they were raising more capital at around 6p per share. Anyway they have a long way to go for me to recover the egg on my face. This is the only penny share that I have stuck with and not got out of...I suppose my hope has always been that the Brand, when properly managed, will eventually trigger growth. | bigbapa
11/1/2007 17:06 | Just so. Presumably put in as a positive note, before the point of the statement, ie a requirement to dsiclose Maltin's leaving. Will the departure have any effect outside the firm? Shouldn't have thought it would come as a great shock at this point? | ladybird1 |
