Tomorrow with the incl;usion in the 250 index and Tuesday's Interims should be interesting times.

UT - uncrossing trade . This is used for the single uncrossing trade,detailing the total executed volume and uncrossing price as a result of an auction.

Whilst not putting the bear case you ask for, melody9999: I too hold the opinion that October (and November) may well not best please those expecting a better performance in those immediate months after September.

And that’s despite me posting some days earlier that 774p won’t look out of place by the final bell of the final day of this month! ( A view still held : )

I’m also of the opinion it’s December that will be the more pleasing, and on with the highly visible, long term upward share price trend.

Volume was terrific on Friday and can be seen standing taller than all other days this year bar one - even on the 5 year charts, it stands taller than other days.

Was waiting for someone to comment on the disparity of those displayed SP’s and the MM’s closing share price price. Been all round the web and on every chart I look at - all show the share price charts closing around approx 727p/728p by close 4:30pm. Yet after 4:30pm with the balancing of the UT (Uncrossing Trades) etc., all those differing websites all show the closing share price as 719p. But not one single chart shows the share price actually drifting down to 719p

The big UT was for 14.8m shares at £107m (sell) - but these are usually numerous trades lumped together from auctions thought the day (pre-opening, mid day after close and always shown as 4:35pm) - Standard advice is to take no notice and try not to interpret - they’re supposed to be a balancing of trades that have already occurred.
(Another mega 1m shares listed as a sell at 5:10pm too).

I never take any notice of after hours settling-up trades but had to with that final share price of 719p bearing no relation to the 4:30pm end of day prices.

However, I post this because that movement has upset many technical indicators that have suddenly turned bearish. I trust it’s nothing more than the disparity of leaving one SETS platform and the next trading day opening on the FTSE250 platform. Because one of the side effects is that candlesticks amongst others, closed on Friday with a reading of - Sell.

Sell? - Eh? WTF?!?

Next Wed in the US, the FED release their decision on an interest rate hike or not, next Wed (effects us on Thursday for London markets) and I’m betting it’s a no change situation and the markets respond positively; hence my reluctance to deviate from my 770p’s share price by end of this month.

all very bullish opinion. anyone care to make the bear case? after FTSE250 inclusion, in the short term we might see the share price relax as the insts have all bought in? but (IMV) nothing to stop the long term upward trend.

There was UT trade worth £107 mln yesterday . UT means uncrossing , between market makers ( ???? not sure if that is correct ). Are MMs position themselves for good results ??

Just looking at long term share chart, it was April 22nd 2005, GVC shares peaked at £8.51. Kenny and team have totally transformed the company since (twice!), we will soon be approaching fair value £10.

Fair value of 1044p and 3.4% est dividend too? Sounds like a great deal for a little over 700p as we speak today...! Onwards and upwards!
