03/9/2016 07:46 | GVC has ALWAYS been at a huge, and that's not an exageration, discount to the sector. So, nothing new there, ecoover. It gives me hope that with the company today so radically different from its past, the market will come to recognise its true value and then a serious re-rating will take place. | mylands
02/9/2016 19:51 | What is p/e for gvc ??? advfn is showing 12.6 !!! | ecoover
02/9/2016 19:12 | 888 earnings were 6.1cents for past 6mth, p/e of 23 or more. GVC shares are significantly undervalued in comparison.Dyor. | coxsmn
02/9/2016 12:58 | Logonair It's a major milestone in a publicly quoted company to be elevated to the 250. As such it warrants an RNS IMO. | mylands
02/9/2016 10:49 | I do not understand the big deal by some that they need an RNS from GVC about being included in the FTSE 250. | loganair
02/9/2016 10:39 | Kenny,Will announce it with the results on Sep 20,the day after the offical inclusion into the FTSE250. | garycook
02/9/2016 08:35 | metis20 Yes we knew that yesterday, but still no RNS. Maybe Kenny doesn't think it's important enough. | mylands
01/9/2016 16:33 | Letting their friends in on the act possibly. | srpactive
01/9/2016 16:24 | active Not what CMC did in June. Immediately it was announced they issued their RNS on June 2nd. Festario is correct about a large number of shares changing hands at the 693/695 level. One of the big boys must be reducing their holding, maybe Standard Life continuing to off load? | mylands
01/9/2016 16:14 | I believe it happens on the 19th, maybe then. | srpactive
01/9/2016 16:05 | Why no RNS on admittance to the 250? Surely it's a material fact that shareholders should be made aware of? | mylands
01/9/2016 13:15 | F,Just think longer term. | garycook
01/9/2016 13:04 | Not worried, just a niggle. There's a massive change of ownership of shares underway between 700p and 695p.The trend line will have caught up to 700p in a couple of weeks anyway. Then we can move on. | festario
01/9/2016 12:29 | F,Do not worry, next target 750,and then you will be saying this at £8.Then I want you to post.Everytime the 800p level is discussed it collapses back.GC was correct. And at £9,and so on.I believe GVC will be at £14/15 in the next 5 years. | garycook
01/9/2016 12:20 | Every time the 700p level is discussed, it collapses back. | festario
01/9/2016 11:41 | He's still around Mylands, but he's a busy family man.I'm sure he'll be looking on here today. | festario
01/9/2016 11:37 | Festario Agreed, shame we don't hear so much from him nowadays. Looks like the penny is starting to drop on the 250 inclusion, with the share price now back to the 700p level. | mylands
01/9/2016 11:28 | I'll pay tribute at this point to the Investment Guru, who at one point in 2011 said these exact words to me over a beer outside a sunny N Wales bar;'This share is badly undervalued and will be £3 to £5 per share in the next 3 years. It will trade between £5 to £10 per share in the next 5 years'Those things came to pass, and I'm looking forward to the great man's next prediction. | festario
01/9/2016 11:22 | Festario Shame we didn't load up with even more, but then that would have been greedy! Volume is picking up, so perhaps the big boys are starting to take up the slack that has seen us bump along the 700p mark. | mylands
01/9/2016 11:17 | It's certainly worth raising a glass to tonight.Who could have imagined this back in 2008 to 2010 when many of us on this board loaded up big time in the region of 100p? | festario
01/9/2016 10:41 | yesrupnel Click on your link and you will see as you scroll down it shows the 250 inclusions as well, and there GVC is! We are also now inluded in: FTSE 350 Index FTSE 350 High Yield FTSE AllShare Index Now surely all that is worth at least one RNS, or maybe even four? The way the share price is moving makes me think that at the moment very few people realise the change in GVC's status. | mylands
01/9/2016 09:41 | The changes to the FTSE 100 were confirmed after Wednesday's close of the stock market and will take effect on 19 September. | yesrupnel
01/9/2016 09:32 | npt tick up today. | coxsmn
01/9/2016 09:22 | The GVC share price has risen sharply on the prospects for the underlying business. This management team has provided constant organic growth while buying and restructuring other companies. Amazing really.Following the bwin purchase there will be huge one off reorganisation costs, followed by massive benefits if it all goes to plan.Don't forget the loan interest at 12%? will next year be 2%, saving over 10c all on its own, direct to the bottom line. It's the figures for 2017 onwards that are important. Not to mention the dividend. (I think it will restart at 10c a quarter - gives a current yield of somewhere over 4%) | cheshiremoggie |
