Nufc if anyone is interested they will look at what's in the CPR's. No one buys "may be". No one offers the ludicrous percentages and multiples you rampers talk about. The oil is far inferior to what Total managed to get for their 40 API oil, around $1.75pb.

It is self financing at decent POO. but you obviously can't pay huge divs for that period as well if you spend a lot of capex cash every year.So they do have to use 825-925m they estimate of cash up that they could give to us over 2/3 years .So big shareholders can say yes we will sacrifice divs for 2/3 years , and have bigger ones yr 4 +.Or leave it to the Chinese ....and take a huge lump now.....

Very strange that the company are allowing their bank balance to drop far too low what with massive costs on the horizon? Have they given up and accept they won't be able to achieve what they've been hyping up?

And it will be the KRG(almost certainly large beneficial shareholders) who will make that call.Made it some time ago , hence gkp cavalier attitude to liquidity , flattening 75% of it's cash resources in 1 month.The takeover is a certainty, to who and how much , and the timing unknowns.The new NED signals it's close , as she is wholly unnecessary, except for Bermuda regulatory oversight of the amalgamated company.Both buyer and GKP would have to have agreed her appointment, so deal near.

Shareholders will be put with the same choice :

Raise a billion and its going to cost this much, and no more special dividends and then wait a long time for the return on the investment

OR

Take this money cash in hand now, its not the best offer you hope for, but its a damn good offer and you get the cash and profits now......
