From a chart POV 226 support which we have nearly touched as was showing a tad over bought last night . Waiting for the 8ma to cross through the 200ma for a repeat 20p rise which we saw before when they crossed.. share price sitting above the 8ma nicely for the move .Initial target 262 p for the next few weeks PJ

The FDP being approved will be a big milestone but the CPR that will follow is going to be key.
The brief for the CPR will be very interesting indeed, particularly the restrictions imposed.
There should be a major expansion of commercial oil, increasing P2 substantially.

IT's the FP and recovery , they are hiding both from us . There is no doubt that we have a much better field than they are letting on.

VALUATION ON SALE.At per current CPR GKP have of the order of 200m 2 P net entitlement reservesWood Mackenzie placed a fully risked valuation of $8/boe pre Putin.......So that's $ 1.6bn - back then - without a new FDP/CPR or any of the field future prospectivity.Plus all the GAS ...........to Europe........So IMO major holders in current status would accept no less than twice the prior very fully discounted - and several IOC would have been interested = competitive tension.Looking at absolute minimum of $3bn which is over 11 quid a share, and in my view that is super super cautious.

Fifteen quid a pop is just about three billion USD, ;)I just think it's gotta be worth more than that. Because, if that's the sort of figure we are going to expect I think there would have been a queue of suitors round the block.

£5.00 seems low, but as was said it was just an opinion. When sold I think it will be closer to actual share price than the £200 or even £100 brigades opinions we see here. Anything over £15 I am a happy fellow.

It's amazing how many GKP boards have been created on ADVFN — most of which just fizzle out after a while.
