When GKP drill a new well that isn't immediately a gusher producing 5kbpd our very own clueless Bigdog is all over it telling us that the well has problems and is a failure.

When the output from an old well that hasn't been maintained or worked over in the ten years since it was drilled drops to 2-3kbpd he is of the opinion that the well has failed.

And yet other oil companies, like Shamaran for instance, spend millions drilling wells IN THE HOPE that they'll produce UP TO 2kbpd.

Which goes to show the fantastic productivity of our wells and the field in general.

Shamaran 3 days ago:-

"Drilling operations have commenced on the CK-18 production well in the Atrush Block. This well will be a Lower Jurassic deviated production well and is forecast to produce up to 2,000 barrels of oil per day."

Yes, UP TO 2kbpd.

We have 14 production wells, if they had all produced UP TO 2kbpd each then we'd be producing UP TO 28kbpd.

But we aren't we're producing 45,900bpd or an average of 3,280bpd each from wells some of which have yet to be worked over. Numbers that other oil companies can only dream of.

Yet another disaster caused by the EU and UK Politicians. Yes you can convert gas power stations to use fuel oil but its not a 5 minute job. Storage being a serious issue.

Winter is a few months away , yet here we are , the EU in turmoil under that incompetent VDL. The UK without any kind of effective leadership and gas/electricity that will shortly be unaffordable to all but the wealthy.

Yet they all seem to be either living in a fantasy world or trying to bury there head in the sand ( like the Conservatives)

Something has to give ....very very quickly.
