22/5/2024 15:44 | Mr B How do you feel re AYTM | ![]() phillis
22/5/2024 15:39 | Rejected by AAL board but they agree to enter talks with deadline extended for a further week. This story still has legs. I would hope that any further offer, in the same format, will be rejected. The uncertainty of an all share offer is bad enough. But to expect AAL to unbundle Amplats and Kumba as a precursor to any deal makes little sense to AAL shareholders. If a 3rd party such as Glencore were to step in and make a sensible offer without any preconditions I believe that AAL shareholders would pressure the board into accepting it. | ![]() theapiarist

22/5/2024 12:28 | You mean that it is your poor wife who ends up "getting trolled" when you offend other posters using her account. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 12:27 | Really? How many children have a blue badge in here? Someone is certainly ticking down, and it has to be an adult, or more than one. And a paying account. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 12:24 | Meerkat image again. Cuddly. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 11:24 | Alan I know, just makes me laugh. :-)) | ![]() zooman
22/5/2024 11:23 | Rose no one has said anything. I use EL sign on for other shares in order that I can't be trolled, quite simple really. Ticking down is what a child does, it stupid. If I think you're an idiot I'll tell you no need to tick down. Then you know who said and why. Simples..Nice to see the share price heading north as suspected, nice profits being made, just need to decide when and if we shall sell. .:-) | ![]() zooman
22/5/2024 11:13 | Phillis, 74857, rather than 74854 (which i think is for a different co), interesting and a good spot. Assuming it is GFM, which I am sure it is, that is fascinating. So JV has to become a Ltd liability Co by 1/1/25 and someone thinks all the assets need to be rolled in meaning the licence doesn't expire in 2037. If the latter is correct, that is worth a lot... I wonder if the company would have to pay something in lieu but really interesting. I'm surprised the board doesn't talk more about it. Has anyone else read this and have any thoughts? Maybe a question for Roger? JPPP | ![]() jppp
22/5/2024 10:45 | No names, just the possibilities. Anyone could be using a second account. Only one person has owned up to it. Or it could be a lurker with unknown motivations. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 10:44 | zoo you can’t it won’t let you unlike rose who we all know is a complete fraud, talk about grasping at straws , | ![]() alangriffbang
22/5/2024 10:37 | So I'm voting down my own posts now am I Rose. Hahaha..... | ![]() zooman
22/5/2024 09:46 | The one thing we can be sure of is that only blue-named subscribers can vote posts down. It's not necessarily someone who posts here, but likely. At least one poster claims to use another account when posting in other forums, to avoid being followed by regulars in here. If that alternate is a blue-name subscriber, he might be down-ticking in the background here. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 08:45 | Whatever Rose, have a nice day. :-) | ![]() zooman
22/5/2024 08:15 | I doubt that you know anything, zoo. Just like your theory about multiple logins being one person, it's just your paranoia. | ![]() rose_by_another_name
22/5/2024 07:30 | Alan, a tick down is like a tick up just tells you someone read it. I don't get wound up or annoyed like some because I think it's funny. Anyway we know who it is. :-)).Let's see what today brings. .Zoo | ![]() zooman
22/5/2024 07:11 | Zoo good morning no swim it’s wet here , interesting about GFM I expect you will have a better chance to sell before me because I’m out a lot ,inflation two point three per cent ,the interest rates should fall very soon now ,Perseus down a bit overnight ,I see you posted a very good post and still got ticked down they need to get a life ,have a good day and thanks for all the pms , | ![]() alangriffbang

21/5/2024 21:14 | Not exactly Alan, EL and I have held given we'd already taken out original investment. She had an interesting conversation with some analysts friends earlier in the year whilst at a function at the OXO Tower restaurant. The general opinion was the BoD may not wish to hand over within a succession planning plan but rather pull out via selling the company. Part of the view was the world's political situation regarding China amongst other things. Also the opinion on GGP was to add. Certain posters on here have seen my views via PM as have you. :-).This week is looking interesting both for GFM and GGP. .Zoo | ![]() zooman
21/5/2024 20:31 | “ Following the grant of a new mining licence over Zone II and Zone III, production has been raised to 1.5 million tonnes per annum, further expansion of operations will require further licences and permits from various Chinese authorities which are proving increasingly complex and time consuming to obtain. ……… On 1 January 2020 a new PRC Foreign Investment Law was enabled which repealed the Sino Foreign Joint Venture Law. Pursuant to Article 42, all Joint Ventures established under the previous law must be converted into limited liability companies by 1 January 2025 with a new business licence. This will require, inter alia, the adoption of new Articles of Association which will have significant benefits for the Company including the inevitable exclusion of the termination of the current joint venture in 2037 as a limited liability company, and a new business licence. | ![]() phillis
