Thank you Rose, you get it I don't care. Why am I not bothered. Because it happened once in 2007 and to date it has not been repeated. So why worry about it? If it happens it sobeit.Zoo

Everyone gets it. You will argue furiously and
often with anyone who cares, although you don't.
If no one else brings up the subject you don't care
about, you will do it yourself, because you really,
really don't care.

It is a view it means it does not factor in my trading stance. You just dont get it. Zoo

You have no views, Zoom. "I don't care" is
not a view.

Rose again we agree yet another new dawn. I would like GFM to say more because as you say it hurts all. I would like to see more fluidity? in the share price it would make my life easier?.And not banging on about a dividend but I'm not convinced it would make any great change in the long term hence my stance. We need updates and not the BOD working it to the letter of the rules.Zoo

UP, I know you are right but he laid into me because of my views and would not accept others have a different outlook. Also its childish but he bites every time. School report says don't tease Rose. ;-)Zoo

Like Zoom says, the only way to make money
on Griffin is to sell. That is their problem,
and it holds the share price back, for sellers as well.

Up. I haven't just saying how things are. Unfortunately one person takes umbrage when dividends are mentioned. Remember the last one was 2007. Its not like they were paying them each year then stopped is it? So why should an argument be started on a subject that has only happened once. Better to lobby the company rather than other posters to force change given I dont read lots of posters shouting about dividends. My point is shareholders here are not needed anymore the route here was two fold, trade the share or buy and hold. Both methods have made money providing the person who has held sells. The next move I feel is a sell out.Zoo

Actually it was you who broached the dividend
issue this time, apparently in order to tell
everyone, again, that you don't care either
way.

My point about your speculation about a Chinese
takeover is that it seems to be entirely your
speculation. No one else has raised the idea.
And it is not sensible on the face of it.

Now you raise employment as a reason for the
Chinese to want to take over ownership of the
mine. Apart from the board, I believe all or
almost all of the employees are already
Chinese. If China wants more to be employed,
they need only grant the licence to mine the
new area. They can do that without spending
hundreds of millions.

Rose why not ask GFM if it could be a consider?ed a possibility in the future. Funny how you have this thing about dividends you sound desperate, is there anything you would like to share?Zoo

Time will tell Phillis if they dont import they still have a requirment by taking it back in house to fill the falling but required need it also works towards their employment issues. RE the sarcasm save it for your mate, like I've said before the dates you both appeared raises a question. As for your first point. No thank you I'd rather not. ;-)))Zoo
