21/2/2019 13:27 | Rose, if I wish to state my view on a dividend, I shall and will continue to do so. In fact I've emailed the company asking if they intend to buy back more shares as I feel this is better than a dividend. This s not your personal BB so pull your horns in.Zoo from a sunny place. | zooman
21/2/2019 12:22 | No debacle involved. If people who don't care about a dividend would signify that by refraining from posting on the subject, there wouldn't even be a discussion. | rose_by_another_name
21/2/2019 11:11 | Up. Thats business and the AIM market. This is why I trade and not invest for long periods on the AIM. Not wishing to get back in to the dividend debacle again as is my view its not a primary consideration for buying. Ok if they pay one and it times right so be it.If the company were to be sold out the BODs are always looked after. Jusy the way it is as always, they take the risk they take the prize. Shareholders dont figure at that point, the company is where it is.Zoo | zooman
21/2/2019 07:57 | Zinc up again this morning it's passed the 2700 mark now, could this be our day,( probably not) | alangrifbang
21/2/2019 00:38 | Zoo, I guess in the respect of the fact that the BOD is blind to the fact that share holders got them to where they are there is no honour from thieves. | up just a little bit
20/2/2019 23:35 | So they need to buy us out at a decent price | up just a little bit
20/2/2019 19:45 | This applies to quite a few companies I'm afraid. Once a company is turning and burning shareholders become a thorn in their side. | zooman
20/2/2019 19:20 | How very true! | alangrifbang
20/2/2019 17:07 | The difference is that GFM do not understand the value of of decent public relations. | up just a little bit
20/2/2019 14:57 | DOSENT make sense at all phillis zinc is up today, gold is flying, and still it drops,I fail to see any negatives, doing this years ISA tomorrow and thinking of centimin, hope I'm not to late, otherwise it will mean a pin! | alangrifbang
20/2/2019 14:15 | GFM not reacting much to the gold price | phillis
20/2/2019 08:02 | I'd say the POZ is trending upwards from the August-September double bottom. Not quickly to be sure, and not straight line. The peaks are a little higher each time. I see the LME stockpile as an indicator. Is there any other? If so, is it moving in the other direction? | rose_by_another_name
19/2/2019 21:21 | I would guess then that it is the house broker's forecast ( not sure if anyone else covers the stock) Always too high I would go for 13c - 17c | phillis
19/2/2019 20:33 | Consensus out there is 23c EPS according to Stocko - although this is probably only one broker. My conservative case, based on similar production and cost structure to that achieved in H1 2018 is 13c. This is 8.42c in H1 2018 (as reported) and 4.43c in H2 the reduction being purely down to fall in POZ. This is obviously harsh so I recalculate based on production in H2 2018 matching the record achieved in H2 2017 to give a top end. This gives a figure of 20c - the effect of assuming zinc production of 23,789 MT vs 16,873 MT in the second half. I would go for a figure half way - @17c. Final point - the actual EPS for 2017 was 23c - 2017 had better production and POZ. | podgyted
19/2/2019 18:33 | Podgy what forecasts do you have? | phillis
19/2/2019 16:43 | A. If it were a case of things being lined up for a takeover they will need to get things moving share price wise when you take in to consideration how much the value of their shares has diminished over the last few months.Zoo | zooman
19/2/2019 16:34 | And yet POZ continues up and LME stockpiles continue to diminish. | rose_by_another_name
19/2/2019 16:24 | Well I guess rose, looking at it today ,I am beginning to understand why my broker has a sell rating on this, the difference between all the very positive posts on here and the bank are miles apart ,a little bit of luck ive had is ,yesterday I set up a share ISA which I'm not allowed to use until Thursday I was going to put it in HSBC,today they have issued a profits warning and dropped,I'm now looking for something else, | alangrifbang
18/2/2019 22:43 | B. How can you say that. :-)))Zoo | zooman
18/2/2019 21:23 | Closet brooms more like, just watch them clean up... Just before they kick the bucket. | burnchat
18/2/2019 20:44 | A. I wonder is it possible that the BOD are Closet Nuns and have taken a Vow of Silence? Zoi | zooman
18/2/2019 18:45 | I'm with you all the way zooman, and I'm convinced that's why my broker makes the share a sell,it should be this ,it should be that,is just not good enough, we need facts and as you know the BOD s are kings of silence, | alangrifbang
18/2/2019 18:17 | U. What we need to know is how much they've processed, the grades and sold. That with the current zinc price will provide the drive. Zoo | zooman
18/2/2019 17:44 | LME Zinc stock 93450!!!! Got to have some movement soon for GFM | up just a little bit |
