topped up today.SP looks silly imo compared with nav of £9.Only sensible reason for fall is that their investments have come unstuck.This is what they had per last report...
The principle performers from the portfolio during the year were
SpaceandPeople, Image Scan Holdings, InvestinMedia, Plus Markets Group, Egdon
Resources and Welsh Industrial Investment Trust. Since the year end Hallin
Marine, Image Scan Holdings, SpaceandPeople and Transense Technologies have each
outperformed the FTSE share index. In addition, Mount Burgess Mining has just
announced that it has received an independent report indicating significant
realisable base metal resources which could amount to an in-ground gross value
in the order of US$981 million. In the event this proves correct, your Company's
4.5% holding in Mount Burgess, which cost £351,000, should materially increase
in value.
Anyone noticed any of these going bust?

I wonder why none of the directors have bought in ?
Expect this one to fall again given the uncertainty over the directors re-election and hardly any one buying these.

looking at company report for the current makes things interesting
i wonder if the board will get shareholder support this year
all the directors except for one are up for re-election which could mean an interesting agm

Back in today.Last time I bought in at around £7 was just after the splendid figures in the last accounts...nav £9+ etc.Sold at a tad under £8 and hope for an action replay..

it is the sale of land for house building which should make this move but thats's still along way away
other site revaluations look possible so there is still plenty to go for
i would like to see £11 witin a couple of years so i will probably wait around but i think it will be taken over before then

Yep indeedy.

I was pretty impressed with the recent results and 800p seems much more of a reasonable price than the 630p beforehand.

Question is do i stay in for the ride or think about taking some profits?

I wander if there is anything going on behind the scenes to cause the rise?

Was that really a trade going through for 13,000 shares at 860p or is that likely to be an error?

If i do sell will the shares continue to climb? (Answer to this one always seems to be yes)

... I would not be surprised if that was the case... Just a few years back I was trading this stock at around 1 pound and I remember being brought into it by its incredible performance (in the order of 1500%) in the previous year...

Please would someone let me know the lowest price of (GHE) these because, I bought these in 1994 and I think they were just 1p, I sold them at 10p thinking I made agood profit. Now iam shocked to see the current price AS I have really missed out. Could someone possibly let me know. Very much appreciated.

NTV, the dates I have are:

Annual report 11th May
Final X-div 23rd May
AGM 11th June

does it sounds right? I guess that the dividend date also is a driving force for the share price to go up

Thanks again NTV - I seem to recall that last time I invested in this share it was listed in the AIM. My memory is playing games with me or simply I'm getting old as my last investment here was a few years ago.

it has a full listing
my short term ahead of the agm is £8 as shares are bought for voting rights at the meeting

Thanks NTV - The low level of communication is a common theme with these small AIM companies. But the stock is robust and the share price is starting to show it. Still lots of steam, 7.50 soon I believe.
