14/6/2006 17:52 | thanx erstwhile2 perhaps mssrs t and n rowe want to try and break up the trust until some sort of agreement can be forged the reit will not happen what interested me most was the potential "bid" edited because i repeated myself | ntv
14/6/2006 17:45 | i had thought of that as well pp i did go long a few of these at 430 so there is some stock about the fundamentals here are strong though directors could start buying in stock for themselves don't know why they don't bid £6.50 a share and take it private anyway in this mkt you could get away with it easily | ntv
14/6/2006 16:19 | Stick a big short on then NTV, could be ripe for a fall if the board is screwing things around and confusing the holders with events. | papalpower
14/6/2006 15:56 | by the way its not that i have anything against the board at present it just seems rather an odd way to do things | ntv
14/6/2006 15:36 | erstwhile2 do you have a list of beneficiaries of the trust? could you post the companies house link? tia | ntv
14/6/2006 15:33 | i personally cannot understand how the directors can be re-appointed without a proper vote they were defeated at the agm by a fair poll i think the company should come to all shareholders and ask them to vote on the matter i know understand why the will not buy back any shares, the trusts % shareholding would increase it will be interesting to see if the trust now tries to "evict" the directors from office again | ntv
14/6/2006 13:02 | So we have the annoucement but it would seem that some kind of dispute remains. Why would the Rowe Trust representative vote out of office its two beneficiary directors? | foster
14/6/2006 11:40 | NTV Many thanks for the info. It sounds like a game of hardball. Perhaps, if the dispute cannot be resolved, the company may be liquidated? Still no rns yet, but surely there must be some announcement before close of business today? | foster
13/6/2006 23:00 | wow that was one hell of an agm mr stirling mr t. rowe mr n. rowe mr ebel were not re-elected!!!!! mr stirling has been with the company for more than 36 yrs unbelievable scene the major shareholder voted agaist all but two of the resolutions imho it all seems to stem from the board wanting to covert to a REIT and forcing the major shareholder to break up his control of the company i might be wrong though!!! there was also talk of a bid(this was the word used by the major shareholder) for the company though the board denied it ever recived a bid this seemed to involve a letter to the board which was withdrawn 10 days later to an outsider like me ,it all seemed very confusing i decided to abstain from the voting until the story becomes clearer with no executive directors it is going to be interesting to say the least and i guess the company will have to release an rns rapidily to explain the situation to shareholders still i repurchased 1,000 shares i think its worth a punt bid or no bid the company seems to have some interesting assets | ntv
05/6/2006 19:55 | i am hopefully going | ntv
