22/4/2021 11:12 | That's the first time I have ever been wrong ( tongue firmly in cheek).Seriously, the votes had to be in by Monday, I believe and ok there could be 4 billion votes to count, but that would have been done for the start of the meeting, so what is causing the delay? If they have withdrawn the resolution again or these new entities accumulating stock since Christmas have voted no, where does that leave the company and more importantly the board of directors? That is why I was hoping it was done and dusted with a yes vote, to let the company carry on. | daddy warbucks

22/4/2021 08:49 | Going to be big, lets see if the shorters buy back and close, as if they say gold strike they are fried.... sellers from above 30p holding cash may see this as the time to get back in. Our geology team has identified a set of high-priority targets to be drilled across this programme that display many similar geophysical characteristics to the Havieron gold-copper deposit. With the drill rig now on site, and all necessary camp infrastructure safely established, drilling has commenced at a large 'bulls-eye' magnetic anomaly known as Goliath. | onehanded

22/4/2021 08:14 | While the gold price has fallen from a recent high of $U2063 in August 2020 to $US1791, Biswas noted there was no sign the heat was coming out of valuations of gold assets, with the $903 million paid by Regis Resources for a 30 per cent stake in the Tropicana gold mine an example that asset prices remain strong. While he believes further consolidation is inevitable, he said Newcrest will only do deals where it can add value to an asset. Buying a mine at current stretched valuations would deliver a return on investment in the high single digits, Biswas said, where Newcrest would want to add value to earn a double-digit return. | pr0t0n
22/4/2021 07:09 | World’s top 10 biggest gold mines MINING.com - 21st April 2021 Despite being adversely affected by the covid-19 pandemic, global gold production still surpassed 100 million ounces in 2020 and is expected to bounce back this year as economies continue to recover and miners ramp up operations. 21/4/2021 18:08 | If GGP was a pure explorer on its own the POG most likely wouldn`t make any difference. If there is a substantial move up in POG you`d see majors move first, then mid caps and small caps/explorers would follow. GGP is somewhere in between so to speak thanks to NCM, Tier 1 deposit and already built processing plant. So yes, if we see POG goes 10% up or close to $2000 that would make a big difference. | pr0t0n

21/4/2021 15:37 | Why are you obsessed with the daily gold price movements ?? Makes little difference to a company that is not likely to be selling gold for some time to come. | tyranosaurus
21/4/2021 15:31 | I'm sure that most are looking forward to the latest GGP/NCM news next week, aligned with the Gold Price, currently just a whisker short of the major $1800 level! | timberwolf
