19/4/2021 11:26 | P, listening to what Shaun was saying Scallywag is showing to have the same geological / mineral structure as Havieron which is in turn providing good data for the drilling program to be adjusted and tweeked for further drilling. This is far from bad news it re-afirms what they suspect is there. Further more I feel they are being careful in what they are saying in order that they can produce a good package for a possible future JV at Scallywag. Zoo | zooman

19/4/2021 10:14 | Early days in these new explo areas - the first needles in the haystack, whilst not exciting, do indicate a similar story to the early stages of Havieron. Much more careful analysis, planning and further drilling are required but, who knows, five years down the line we could see several more proven resources to follow the Havieron success story. | spaceparallax

19/4/2021 08:37 | These results were already priced in after first 3 holes. Didn`t expect any different this time. They`ll be drilling 1km north next and about 3km south. From the top of the Architeuthis to the bottom of the Teach is almost 5km, so very difficult to find a `sweet spot` (if there is one, of course). "Targets within the 100% Scallywag licence include the Swan, Teach and Architeuthis. Targets within the Juri JV include the existing Goliath, Outamind, Los Diablos and Parlay, plus newly defined AEM targets within the Black Hills area, and Tama, N5 and A9 in the Paterson Range East area Drilling is expected to be ongoing throughout the 2021 and 2022 field seasons " | pr0t0n

19/4/2021 07:47 | Well, looks like their aim was to narrow down targets for the next drilling campaign... Ongoing geological interpretation, assisted by drill information and regional aeromagnetics, has identified multiple new targets within the Scallywag licence New targets include “Architeuthis& Page 5 | pr0t0n

16/4/2021 13:37 | Timber, yes I understand, you are correct - it makes sense. We can only guess unless we see the full report. ScotiaBank values all these "development assets" at $5.5 billion and that includes Wafi-Gopu and others as well as HAV and Red Chris. | pr0t0n
16/4/2021 13:28 | @ pr0t0n "So two projects valued at $5.9 billion are Hav and Red Chris." IMHO, I don't believe that you can purely list Havieron & Red Chris as the growth projects. You need to include Wafi-Golpu & Cadia, but who knows which projects Goldman used for their note. As Sandeep Biswas stated in August last year, "We have an exciting pipeline of growth projects underway which includes the commencement of declines at Havieron and Red Chris to help accelerate the realisation of their value, as well as the further expansion of Cadia and the development of Wafi-Golpu," As usual, it's not a simple matter, since, unless GS breaks it's figures down (which maybe they did, but I don't have access), we just don't know. That said, as I've mentioned before, at least Havieron, unlike Wafi-Golpu, is in one of the lowest risk and safest mining jurisdictions in the world. Just look at the mining lease issues that Newcrest are having at Wafi-Golpu! | timberwolf
16/4/2021 12:17 | Found it, actually it was valued at $2.9 billion...Red Chris was $875 million. | pr0t0n
16/4/2021 12:00 | Cheers Paddy. So two projects valued at $5.9 billion are Hav and Red Chris. How`s that compare with ScotiaBank from last year. If I recall NCM`s stake for HAV was valued at $2.7 billion. | pr0t0n
16/4/2021 11:27 | Goldman Sachs has upgraded NCM from neutral to buy based on it's "major project growth pipeline". It's values the projects at US$5.9 billion or A$10.30/share to NCM. GLA - Paddy | paddygall
