If we are to become a miner, then it would make sense to have a listing on the stock market where your main assets are situated.It wouldn't surprise me to see GGP listing on the ASX sometime soon.Whether by an IPO or an acquisition, who knows!

I understand people being frustrated but c`mon , how much one can do in 3 months.
2 applications, one in Paterson and another at Earnest Giles, drilling has commenced and new corporate broker.
Obviously there are other things in the background , whether it`s sale of assets, fund raise/acquisition or spin-off I don`t know.

Greatland Gold plc (LON:GGP), the London Stock Exchange AIM listed precious and base metals exploration and development business, as previously announced on 15 December 2020 regarding the appointment of Shaun Day as Chief Executive Officer, informs the grant of the following share options.

All options entitle the holder upon exercise to one ordinary share of 0.1 pence in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). All options have a three year vesting period and have a life of five years from grant date.

If the Employee leaves or his employment is terminated before the options vest, then those options that have not vested will lapse immediately, unless otherwise agreed by the Board. All options will vest immediately upon a change of control event. All unvested options are subject to full or partial clawback, at the Board's sole discretion, in the event that certain clawback events are triggered.

I would say that the drop in share price is a chance for holders to lower their average.What would be nice is if more funds like the VanEck topping up to stabilise the priceJust received a sell quote for 2m shares , so it seems there are buyers.Any one able to get a higher quote ?

Newcrest are keeping information to themselves imhoKey growth projects on schedule. Positive exploration results continue from both the Red Chris and Havieron drill programs. At Red Chris the box cut is 50% complete as it works toward the underground block cave PFS and initial ore reserves by the end of September following the recent resource of 15moz gold and >4mt copper. Newcrest funding of Havieron is in place until the FS is complete. That will be a minimum of 12 months from now.Newcrest are funding all the JURI JV exploration also.GGP have the cash required for the Scallywag exploration for at least this year - there are still warrants to be exercised before the end of August.By the time Newcrest have stopped funding Havieron we will have a PFS and an FS so debt financing will be available if NCM funny take the 5%.NCM will take the 5% IMO as they always wanted a route to 75% ownership.If there is to be a raising then Shaun will have a plan for it and my guess would be an acquisition. A small producing asset would suddenly give us an income from mining and open up the GDX and other funds to us.GLA Paddy

Newcrest funding Havieron will soon end.
Where is Greatland going to get the money to fund Scallywag costs and fund their share of Havieron costs ?
Yes Newcrest can buy 5% of Greatland at market value but would they want to.
They would like a weak Greatland share price.
Looks like a placing will be the likely answer.
Share price already partly reflecting this ?
