Might be that then fozzie, cheers.

SCSW is out this weekend so it will be interesting to see if they cover it.

Whatever, this is just a fantastic company - one of those you tell the grandchildren about one day imo.

Goodwin! (GDWN) And I bought live 500 shares at 1082.4 just before the market closed!

Goodwin looks a lovely strong company which gradually over the years just goes up. As I explained at the seminar my timeline for this one would be a hold for at least a year for decent growth prospects. It's in a business that continues to grow strongly and it looks very cheap.

There's no real interest from private investors but plenty from institutions. Probably because pi's don't like buying shares priced over a tenner. Never bothers me! My target is 1450. Stop 900. I expect Goodwin to continue to go up in value - never going to be a huge riser in a day or anything but I hope it will be a lovely performer this year.

a number of small buys over the lat hour, unusual for GDWN - tipped somewhere?

Punters buying before the next SCSW perhaps.

yep, in a way I'm glad there are no forecasts highlighting it, it's let me buy on the cheap that way. It's getting recognised more now tho.

The PEg is astonishing, about 0.2 and a true PEG too, with 5 years growth of earnings.

I know someone tha thas spokent to the management. Split looks a good possibility, the thing that is putting them off is analysts missing the performance of the stock if they look at the price I am told.

This is a company proud of what they have achieved and run by people with theier namr on the badge. Check out that performace since 2000.

A 20 bagger since the turn of the century nearly - if these have a split the headline price will look so attractive that punters will be falling over each other to buy - but that would be to be missing the point imo. The real point is these have got to nearly £11 for a reason - it's the long term class act. The fwd PE is still around 8-9 with fantastic growth - it's a rare animal.

I suspect we'll get a trading statement in March like we had an interim managemenmt statement in Oct. Company seems to be getting a lot more newsflow savvy imo, results including more detail recently too.

Only just started following this so trying to track back on stuff mentioned.

Is the split a strong possibility or just a strong rumour? Has there been any mention from management or is it merely speculation given the stock isn't too liquid.

Any opinions welcome.

Not a chance of a pullback if the rumoured share split goes ahead.

I've Bed and ISA'd to my £7k limit and will do the same on my wife's behalf when the certificate returns. Will have to transfer stock into her name first. All above board and keeps Darling's hands off my hard-earned.

Decided to crystalise gains on my non-ISA holding (by Bed and ISAing) because if the share split does go ahead then this will race ahead. Virtually all of my holding is now ISA'd and I'd recommend others to do the same.

What are the chances of a wee pullback to get in?

(probably already answered that one in my own mind)

OK CR, you've convinced me.

Or rather the figures have. They speak volumes for themselves.
