21/12/2007 22:49 | Been working away in Edinburgh and was caught with my trousers down when I heard the results were out today, a month early ! What excellent figures though again. Ydderf, you need to do a bit more research. When you think of Goodwin, you should be thinking of Mountview. Stock very tightly held, small number of shares, family-run and the quality eventually came out. Shares now trading at £57 (were at £80 this year). | jimmy tarbuck
21/12/2007 21:11 | Look at the chart Frauddy - the difference is they are both going in different directions and your on the wrong one lol! CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2007 17:40 | compare and contrast - goodwin no divi, unlikely to be a 5 bagger, its all in the past........SUY is the future.....think of goodwin at under 2 quid... | ydderf
21/12/2007 17:29 | can't remember the last day this good - I'm actually smiling again - hope it lasts :-) CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2007 11:22 | amazing results congratulations to the directors and staff, all this company now needs to do is start interim dividends and issue a share split to make the shares more marketable. | kneecaps2
21/12/2007 10:51 | I agree, fantastic results. I've topped up while most of the world is distracted with Xmas shopping, getting away to their holiday destination etc. I wonder if Goodwin deliberately releases results on days like this to benefit its more alert and enthusiastic investors? | alexisk
21/12/2007 10:36 | Great results :-) Bet again there were many thinking they'd be bad, released intra-day on a Friday :-) Excellent throught imo. Can't complain at the reaction I guess in this market and when punters might be chasing the bounces rather than the highs but a great long term hold imo. :-) CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2007 09:32 | Barely 8 weeks after year end and they are out, company in order I say. Great statement | cambium
21/12/2007 09:30 | ooh Hello! | cambium
21/12/2007 09:24 | Margins over 15%, over 90p for this year possible? Over 40% growth (fifth year on the trot?) and barely 10 times earnings. Hello, hello? | res1606
21/12/2007 09:03 | interims out!! | davemac3
18/12/2007 13:27 | turning upwards - huge, huge reverse head and shoulders forming. My bet's on a big breakout before the results. CR | cockneyrebel
14/12/2007 13:44 | good take on GDWN, bodes well for a quiet mkt on Dec 28. Holding for more | cambium
07/12/2007 15:48 | held up well today CR, | cambium
06/12/2007 10:40 | had the interim management statement recently which is pure excellence to read so I doubt there will be another, knowing GDWN. Results ar ein 6 weeks too so it's just wait till then imo. Broken out today, worth loads more than this in my book. They only bought Noreva in March so that's only just started kicking in. Should be very earnings enhancing as it seems to have started to show in Q1. Will be a lot higher on the results imo. CR | cockneyrebel
06/12/2007 09:25 | Got to be H1 trading statement to come me thinks. | paulieb
06/12/2007 09:09 | We didn't have to wait long... | chester
06/12/2007 09:03 | Getting very close to a Breakout. | chester
05/12/2007 15:54 | Well punters are snuffling these up - up again today - worth £12+ imo. CR | cockneyrebel
03/12/2007 22:25 | 65p with 30% growth gives an eps of 85p which is also equivalent to 19p + 21p + 22p + 23p then puts this on an historic pe of 10 with a peg of under 0.3. With consistant growth. More people should be waking up to this imo. | paxton208
03/12/2007 21:10 | Nice one Chester. Got to be a cracking hold for Jan imo. Going back to the previous high and beyond imo Q1 has seen them do 19p eps approx. Got to do 40p eps in H1? 55% earnings growth, PE for the current year around 10. Have a look at the earnings growth here too: 2003 = 25.5p, 2004 = 27p (+6%), 2005 = 35p (+30%), 2006 = 47p (+35%), 2007 = 65p (+38%). 40%+ earnings growth this year? This stock is the only stock I have ever found where the growth rate has increased each year for 5 years. If this was a tech stock the share price would be £25. A fantastic secret imo.
