I've long been a fan of Buffetology. Put your money into companies that have (or seem to have) an unassailable moat around them. We've discussed this many times on this board over the past decade. It sounds simple advice - but it isn't. If selection was simple, we would all be as rich as Buffett.

Thank you for the lesson. I never was good at charting.

Why would there be support at 72? the price is in new territory and has only been there about 5 minutes. Support is created during a period of sideways consolidation when weak holders sell and new buyers come in...over a period of time. A base is created if you like - we are way higher than support price! For a share with a rising trend line you would normally find support at the moving average lines for starters...

yes into blue sky territory yet again. for the moment there isn't much stock about - I think shareholders here are generally strong (insti) and if they think PBT is on route to 400p eps over next few years there isn't really much reason to sell. so pay up please new would be institutional shareholders...

Nick train is always banging on about finding unique companies with reference to things like Burberry...none of them are unique - GAW actually is!

I could buy more of GAW. I'm tempted but it is already my biggest holding by far, so I won't. I'll probably regret my decision.

It just dawned on me that GAW told us that AoD will NOT be a TV show. It refers to Eisenhorn as "our first TV show" and AoD is scheduled for release well before Eisenhorn ..."if it does go into production, our first TV show is not only true to our IP but is a commercial success too."

One of the guys involved in creating our Ident described it as a long term identifier. The boy on the moon with a fishing rod was given as an Ident example (Dreamworks). They are a combination of a logo (or movie clip) and a recognisable piece of music. The James Bond theme came to my mind as an excellent Ident.Everybody should be able to connect any of our media products to Games Workshop through our Ident. It's not related to AoD but the Ident should be ready for when AoD hits screens.

Frank Spotnitz (The Man in the High Castle, The X-Files) will act as both showrunner and Executive Producer on the series, which will be based on the wildly popular Warhammer 40,000 games, miniatures and novels.

wonder if that means eisenhorn will be licensed by amazon? i have no knowledge but frank and amazon have form...

I think the creation of a WH ident is beyond AoD, it's branding the whole planned media output - Aod, Eisenhorn, the 40k anthology recently signed off etc.

Certainly exciting times, hoping AoD finds a home outside of WHTV.

The creation of an Ident would suggest it's beyond WHTV.

Nod,

Any idea of where it'll be shown? Hard to see it generate meaningful royalty revenue if it'a shown only on Warhammer TV as alluded to in the AR.

Angels of Death was due for release in 2019 and was delayed by "a few months". A new teaser was shown at the Las Vegas Open Game Convention, where GAW ran a "large number of ads".I reckon AoD release could be in this quarter.Over on IMDB I noticed under the AoD director, Boman Modine, ten Episodes have been pencilled in for AoD Season 1. If you are an IMDB member they are looking for the AoD plot to be pencilled in.

Thanks, nimbo.
A long term buy and hold for me. I had £95 as a medium term target.
My initial exposure will be 3.5% of portfolio. 1% done, 2.5% to go!

this used to be 20% of my pf... now up to 30% with some recent buys at 68.... slightly early but can see another 50% from here over next 12 months. GL Sogoesit. (not that my own high conviction here anyway means the share price will do well!)
