18/1/2020 15:00 | My 2 pennies worth (mentioned previously) I think £150 is achievable within 2 years. EPS of 300-350p or higher?! and a racy PE of 35 + as investors (especially institutions who have missed out to this point) pile in. Within that timeframe there will be a TV show and movie to talk about even if not quite released. I see £100 being hit this year as the latest post results broker expectations are beaten again. If it doesn't get to £100 this year or £150 next, then at least its been 'ok' so far ; ) and we get lovely dividends to enjoy. This like all shares must be allowed time to consolidate (or even dip!) somewhere - perhaps around 70 or £75....nothing just goes up and up without a break. Unless of course it's prodigious cash generation makes it a bid target... | nimbo1
18/1/2020 08:19 | Martin, that's a wise perspective. If something looks too good to be true it often is.Has Peel Hunt suddenly become over optimistic? Or, is PH still being conservative and the future results could be much higher than they currently forecast? | nod
18/1/2020 06:43 | All this excitement re GAW could cause me problems. Up to now, the broker has suppressed exuberance in GAW by issuing ludicrously low broker forecasts, thus holding back the share price .. ...albeit fine company performance has meant the share price from circa £5 to circa £70. This has happened without the forward P/E becoming anything remotely exciting, certainly not reaching BOO levels of circa 50, and with pretty conservative media coverage. But now it seems to be being tipped everywhere, which may cause the share price to become less boring. Yet GAW EPS, even with the daftly low forecasts for H2, is forecast to have grown by a factor of about 5.5 over 2016–>2020, which is more than BOO where the corresponding number is just under 5. I am not unhappy about the idea of the GAW share price doubling from here to put it on a similar valuation to BOO. But would GAW getting to a forward P/E of 50 cause me to reduce my position (for the sake of prudence) and cost me money in the long term... ...given it will be taking over the world in due course. What a quandary to have, or am I just over-reaching? | shanklin

18/1/2020 03:33 | Financial Times posted 9 hours ago Recommends BUY Article mentions this: "The number of users accessing the Warhammer community website was up 48 per cent against the same period last year, and the number of visits per user also increased." This is exciting because it indicates a significant growth in new recruits. | nod

17/1/2020 14:30 | You keep taking me higher and higher I want to see the movies and TV stuff as a fan on the books. Simply awesome. Games too. I actively searched for movies ages ago and look forward to them. The Warhammer 40,000 could be the new Starwars and Startrek. The same fans will find Space Marines etc mid boggling. I think Disney will snap these up. Its got Marvel Potential and Quality. Its great because the toy franchise is already there. When the movies, series and console games come in the sales of the figures will explode again. I wish I had seen these sooner. But am in now big time. So much scope here and its an economic moat owing to the IP intellectual property - No one else has a foothold in this. | cambourne

16/1/2020 10:20 | dplewis1, excellent advice. I did some research and it took me to some very sinister places. StockStracker claims to live in Scotland and be 70 years old. The person posts a wide variety of links to different sites. One link goes to a sinister looking ninja with no public information.I have asked ADVFN to investigate on the basis of spamming 40 times per day. I have found ADVFN support to be hopeless in the past. I would suggest you all write to ADVFN Support and report this person for spamming and posting potentially dangerous links. | nod |
