06/2/2018 10:01 | Price has bounced on top of prior gap support zone [2155-2100] Taken a few, Initial target price 2300 edit, Chart added 06/02/18 | bamboo2
05/2/2018 23:10 | The other star performer on LSE in 2017 - IQE - has declined 43% from its high so we should be happy our fundamentals are sound. | nod
05/2/2018 22:16 | That should read page 57 of the last Annual Report.I can't edit posts on iPad app. | nod
05/2/2018 22:12 | The last page of the Annual Report, page 57, gives information in exchange rate methodology, risks and impacts.Salaries are calculated at average exchange rates.15% appreciation of the US dollar would result in 561,000 gain in income (based on 2017 income)A decline would result in a similar loss | nod
05/2/2018 21:48 | Nod - no, I don't think the year end rate matters the most - it will just be used to value USD denominated assets and liabilities on the balance sheet. The year's average is the more relevant metric, I think. GAW don't hedge their exposures - so we ride that rollercoaster. | trident5
05/2/2018 21:37 | True. It looks racy on a chart but GAW share price is not racy on fundamentals so should rebound after the market bloodletting. The dividend payout will help. This market bloodletting is likely to spread around the globe. This usually sees a move to safe haven currencies such as the USD. So we may see a change of direction in the USD-GBP exchange rate. The USD rate that matters most will be the rate at year end (end May) as this is used in the Finals for accounting and calculating year on year changes. However, this is only going to be a few percent at most. DOW fell 1500 at one point. | nod
05/2/2018 20:49 | Certainly looks like sentiment has changed - but the market hasn't given GAW a racy rating so shouldn't fall too far. | trident5
05/2/2018 20:12 | That should have said "markets have been volatile" DOW now down 1000 It could be worse, we could be in Bitcoin. | nod
05/2/2018 20:04 | The trading range in GAW today was huge at 300 pence. The DOW is currently down 800 and falling like a brick.Markers have been very volatile since Goldman Sachs predicted this on 30 January.More red tomorrow, I think. | nod
05/2/2018 17:28 | Yes, that's my understanding though I haven't seen the note. 2019 yet to be updated from £55m PBT 'due to the move in exchange rates' | cockerhoop
05/2/2018 16:46 | P.S. Has the forecast for next year also been updated? | shanklin
05/2/2018 16:22 | Thanks, good to see the figures increasing slowly upwards. Looks nailed on that that will be the trend all year. PE about 13 on those forecasts. | cfro

05/2/2018 15:55 | IN my ignorance i am not sure what the previous upgraded forecasts were. Could someone please enlighten me? | cfro
