02/2/2018 15:10 | I'm holding after topping up at 2691p. Might even use the cash for some more. But as they say DYOR | prospective investor
02/2/2018 12:41 | Quite shocked to see it back below £23.00. Would be able to understand if it wasn't for the Interims, they looked great to me. The trading update thing confuses me because they put one out in January last year, and one in early February, the first Monday of the month. That is this Monday coming so why the sudden panic? Is it just following with the rest of the market? I was thinking of adding, because it has almost dropped £22.50, but after that support is more or less £20.00. I can't tell where its gonna go. What's everyone doing/thinking? | dansaunders25
02/2/2018 10:40 | Yes, certainly could be about the dog that barked in the night. With GAW one just never knows when we will hear how things are going, albeit their H1 results were positive about December trading. | shanklin
02/2/2018 09:50 | Perhaps traders bailing who had expected a jan trading update...? | allstar4eva
02/2/2018 09:08 | Now more than 15% off the 28-Dec-17 close of £26.89. The only negative I can see is the change in the exchange rate against USD but I am not sure that justifies such a big fall. Forecast yield now back over 5%. Thoughts welcome. | shanklin
01/2/2018 14:22 | Hi Rhom, I did pop in to my local store last week. The local manager though plays a very straight bat to any financial questioning. A delivery had arrived and he was busy filling shelves so I had a quick look through the open boxes. It looked like the Maggotkin of Nurgle new stuff had sold well but obviously a very small sample. My gut feeling is UK stores are doing ok - still hitting targets with tougher H2 comparables but are probably the slowest growing part of the business so are not necessarily representative of the whole sales picture. I think I need to pop into another store to get a less on message manager :-) | cockerhoop
01/2/2018 14:14 | "The only predictable thing about GAW is its unpredictability." They apply a rule base similar to the games they produce. Namely they roll some dice and consult a table of results to see when to issue an update, if at all. | skirbell
01/2/2018 11:48 | Morning CH Have you had any in store insights as to what sales look like? Cheers | rhomboid
01/2/2018 08:46 | I'd wager a dividend declaration with possible trading update in mid-Feb. | cockerhoop
01/2/2018 02:29 | No trading update in January. The only predictable thing about GAW is its unpredictability. We only have the trading update given with the Interims, which was very positive: "Our sales for the month of December have also shown good growth trends." | nod
26/1/2018 15:51 | Looks like a positive effect if you ask me :-) | argylerich
26/1/2018 11:59 | Doesn't seem to affect this share Argyle. Fit Like onywy ? | flatoutfred
24/1/2018 11:17 | Do the Divi payment days ever have a noticeable affect on share price? With the amount reinvested one would of thought this was a possibility? | argylerich
24/1/2018 10:58 | Chart support went like IQE | panic investor
24/1/2018 10:57 | I've got £22k sitting waiting for me to get another 1,000 ;o) | flatoutfred
24/1/2018 10:41 | this is getting ridiculous | az4hr
23/1/2018 15:44 | Has all the hallmarks of a tree shake. We'll see soon enough. | yaffy
23/1/2018 15:41 | Pre trading update shakeout? | chrisatom
23/1/2018 15:21 | Possibility of a Head and Shoulders pattern with eod close below approx 2370 TP would be the prior breakaway gap support zone approx 2150 Last time this happened, it was a great buying op. | bamboo2
22/1/2018 12:54 | Nod,I wondered that as well and called my broker in case I had missed something on my system. GAW do like putting out their trading update RNS's out at different and unexpected times, it must infuriate the MM's as they loose their ability to get ahead of the curve, but good for us PI's. I reread their recent half year report and feel more convinced than ever that the next trading statement will be very good, another dividend would be a lovely treat as well. GLA holders. | pnetol
22/1/2018 11:24 | Re the RNS today"The Company was also informed that on 19 January 2018 ..."Was the word "also" a copy and paste error or was the RNS scheduled to be after something else today? | nod
17/1/2018 22:32 | DOW and Nasdaq up over 1% Relief that Donald is not medically insane, and his insane behaviour is normal.Should deter sellers. | nod
17/1/2018 11:15 | There doesn't seem to be much appetite for selling below 2500.This suggests that most investors are now happy to hold for the longer term and short traders fear getting caught out by the next trading update and possible dividend that attracts buyers. | nod
16/1/2018 11:57 | Thanks hawaly, I had forgotten about that. Have now set up an alert just incase. | interceptor2
16/1/2018 10:17 | Trident, yes that information came as a shock. | nod |
