As for installation from company rnsSales in the homeAnother key element of the Company's strategy is its Brand Ambassador programme, the creation of a nationwide network of high quality Gas Safe registered installers who will sell the Flow boiler, smart home technology and energy packages in the home. Virtually all boiler sales are made by installers who are invited into customer homes to provide help, advice and recommendations on heating products. The Company believes this approach can deliver sales efficiently and effectively. The Company's sales team has recruited an impressive range of motivated Brand Ambassadors across the UK, who will clearly explain, face-to-face, the benefits of the Flow boiler and packages, directly to customers. In order to retain control of the customer experience while using third parties, all Brand Ambassadors will be provided with a proprietary software-based in-home sales solution that will provide an end-to-end process for surveying, quoting and sales. In another innovation, Flow will provide its boiler directly to its Brand Ambassadors, bypassing the traditional merchant channel, retaining more value to increase profitability and to enhance incentives for Brand Ambassadors.

It looks like a standard boiler. It's the same shape and size and it hangs on your wall. It heats your home efficiently and reliably, just like a standard boiler.Just noticed this piece from a few days ago explains the dealhttp://www.theguardian.com/money/2015/jan/17/new-boiler-generates-electricity

Two questions:1. Does the Flow boiler fit in a cupboard in the average kitchen or is it too bulky to do so?2. Are there qualified heating engineers out there who can fix the boiler if it goes wrong?

koba,

I haven't done thorough research just some basics and I do not research all stocks just some that come to light and get me interested. The stock was drawn to my attention a few weeks ago along with a tip on another company and again today from the Mail. So I thought I would look a bit further.

A number of concerns are as follows:

-relatively new technology most new technology companies fail to take off anything like what brokers forecast.

-New boiler's end life is an unknown quantity

-too many uncertainties on pay backs

-energy costs falling at the moment the company benefits with energy costs rising

-small player in the market the big boys could easily convert their boilers to incorporate similar technology

Conclusion:

Have looked at the cost options but not certain what the average fitting costs are I don't know whether they have been considered in boiler savings.

I would imagine they are higher than a conventional boiler due to costs on wiring?

But let me make absolutely clear my research has been very basic indeed I could be very wrong here I would like to await further news.

StDo you research every stock where you don't warrant a position and put forward your views? Must have a lot of time on your hands?Fox am very well aware of the history of the company first met the then management of energetix over 6 years ago. They have had a number of teething issues like most new technology plays and I have owned on and off the stock over the years...quite often a frustrating experience. However over the past few months I am seeing genuine progress and I believe the opportunity in grabbing a part of the gas boiler market in the uk and other large gas dependent developed economies is very real. The EU directive on vat is nonsense and outside the company's control so they can't be blamed for that surely? Not so happy with the latest options changes ...but if they do succeed with the current model then shareholders probably won't object to the management getting a lump. All in all a modest valuation for the market opportunity of derisked disruptive technology aimed at mass consumer market...with a fast growing energy supply business on the side.do they still have the emergency power side using compressed air? Always liked that as a stand alone..not mentioned much now!

koba,

I don't have a position, have just done some basic analysis and given my views.

I could be wrong however I simply think its too early to risk money at the moment.

As a current investor in this company over the last couple of years I can say it has promised much and delivered little. The current CEO Tony Stiff seems to pay himself a very extravagant salary for what I don't know.

St suppose you be selling into this bounce then as you seem to dislike just about everything about this company?Personally think very interesting play and although the marketing of the boiler has only just started in earnest and is going to be a measured build up ...the rise of the energy supply business is very welcome and provides a very valuable business in its own right. In energy supply markets individual domestic customers are valued at anything from £200-£400 per head...so 100,000 plus and growing strongly energy supply business is a very valuable entity in its own right. The 'which' thumbs up can only help in driving new customers to their door and with shell now providing finance the business can probably now grow even quicker?Wouldn't be surprised at this rate if the supply business wasn't floated off as a separate concern at some stage as the synergistic marketing benefits in rolling out the boiler initially with supply customers doesn't mean the two companies will be a natural fit longer term.Anyway exciting year ahead ..things finally coming together.

Put it this way if this company was on dragons den Peter Jones would want to know how much money the company is making now not in 2 years time.

At the moment the company is losing money and not set to break even until 2018 and that is just a forecast.

Too early imo the company targets were for 100,000 customers in 2015 and said its exceeded those numbers. However they didn't say how much!

The company needs multiples of 100,000 to even break even and by that time cash may be gone.

Its been tipped in the Mail today but I think its too early.

The boiler needs to come down in price.

I actually don't like the complex pricing structure upfront premium on the boiler and pay back through feed back tariffs. Energy costs are falling at the moment that could affect feed back tariffs.

2018 is too long to wait for meaningful profitability particularly with the markets unstable around the world.

If customer numbers had have doubled I may have been more optimistice.

As for the "Which" report its sales that count "Which" doesn't always get it right.

Still no news on INDEPENDENT TESTS under real life conditions - Until these are available and believeable to potential users I personally would not give the boiler house room NOR invest.

However if and when produced AND in my opinion satisfactory I might consider both options.

Anyone close to teh coy or PR coy any idea to timeline until tests may be available.

Bloke on Radio 2 saying that gas cookers and gas boilers should be replaced with anything other than that which works on gas. Sounds stupid in reality but he is trying to go along with this Paris waffle.
