01/12/2015 16:52 | So someone cashed in 250 quid and it knocks 16% off the value of the company ? are we now expecting an update tomorrow on the BFS ? | blackss
30/11/2015 09:47 | Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa | andrea152
18/11/2015 16:37 | Well done Melo, just waiting to hear the BFS is under way and i dont think we will look back here. | blackss
18/11/2015 16:09 | partly me but not all me buying | melodrama
06/11/2015 12:25 | This is starting to look very sorry for itself. the value of their 43% stake is dropping like a stone. Lets hope they have a real interest in getting it back up ASAP. | blackss
02/11/2015 09:36 | Rathbones adding to their position recently, it wud seem. | andrea152
30/10/2015 08:04 | Not so sure cash burn is that high given we will no longer be working towards the BFS and management taking shares for wages ? the major risk factor i would think is steel prices but over production from China might be short lived if they have to start shutting their high pollution plants. | blackss
30/10/2015 07:47 | Just need confirmation BFS under way hopefully in November but at least by year end. That would remove a major risk factor with this share. Promise of regular updates is good and mcap should move up to reflect what is going on here and elsewhere with Hebei and South African govt. Agree may need some funds to tide over hopefully at a higher price than today. GL | cliveas
30/10/2015 07:21 | Well enough cash for another quarter, then another placing perhaps as BVI only funding the BFS and not the running costs of FCR which as we know are high especially the costs to keep us on 3 exchanges! | firemansam4
28/10/2015 10:44 | agree andrea, Steel just has a bad name at the moment over here but you cant base a build for 2020 on 2015 dip prices. Some trades maybe moves into ISA's, i moved 1m last week sideways. | blackss
28/10/2015 10:22 | A few larger trades yesterday. Somewon taking a view. Various Bloomberg articles last week in the press, saying the Hebei plant will definitely go ahead, aiming to produce 5m tonnes of steel per annum by 2020. The S.A. Minister also stated that sources of iron ore & other raw materials will be sourced LOCALLY ! Still feel that this is the real key to FCR's future AND its future funding. DYOR. | andrea152
23/10/2015 15:16 | agree clive, its right that the markets are sceptical but the company can put that right as soon as it has conformation things are on the move again. | blackss
23/10/2015 14:44 | Just need confirmation from the company that the BFS is actually under way which will reassure investors that the JV is binding and not another false start. GL | cliveas
23/10/2015 09:49 | andrea The 4th quarter runs till Dec 31st, they can start any time in the 4th quarter so have to start in the next couple of months...as i said. | blackss
23/10/2015 09:38 | Black , we r already in the 4th quarter, it started on 1st October 2015. BFS work shud hav already started. | andrea152
22/10/2015 17:21 | Going on past events here no one will believe there is anything going on till it happens. You say Funding ? there was no funding as such, just a third party saying it will carry out a BFS for us in return for shares. They will start in 4th quarter so they have another couple of months + however long a BFS takes which is pretty open-ended. Bottom line is they are looking at stage 2 being a couple of years away. with steel prices through the floor i now expect this to drag on for some time. No reason for the company to hurry until the steel price rises... if it does. The company did well to keep this afloat at all but we are now in the hands of the SA government and their infrastructure plans as well as Steel prices. Back in the bottom draw i think. | blackss
22/10/2015 16:44 | 1 wk after the BFS Funding RNS, lack of reaction here seems astonishing. Get feeling that BOD are not telling us everythin goin on behind scenes here. | andrea152
14/10/2015 16:37 | strange day, we started 23% up so i think the MM's expected more. Had it gone up from there i think a lot would have been selling into a rise , sometimes slow and steady is more sustainable. Maybe the news will go down better in Aus over night. As i see it now if this deal holds together (I would imagine FCR's DD is pretty thorough this time) we should have got the major negative out the way now, i cant see a down side to this going forward ? A little worrying that there are no figures quoted for the BFS Once progress is being made again if we need to raise cash hopefully it will be from a better share price and will attract institutions. Lets also hope the news flow picks up again now as the phase 1 BFS starts in the next 8 weeks. | blackss
14/10/2015 13:47 | I think you are correct in that Black SS. The interesting bit is what will happen after this ? | andrea152
14/10/2015 13:16 | Very little mention of cost Raj, i would like to know what they are putting in to get 43% of the company. It doesn't look like they will pay FCR anything, just carry out the BFS on their behalf if i read it correctly ? | blackss
14/10/2015 12:51 | we just need them to pay the costs on time now when we start the bfs work again. it would have been better some cash upfront to save us the need to come back to investors if the money is delayed or not payed.. so until the money starts to roll in.. is it market risk? | rajaster
14/10/2015 11:34 | Big hurdle overcome meaning no placing or asset sell off required.Risk has been greatly reduced here. With Hebei stomping around in the background who knows what may develop. GL | cliveas
14/10/2015 09:53 | Still its all underway and the Company has no meaningful DEBT , which is what is killing many Junior miners right now. Also gives company time to talk to potential plant construction partners such as Hebei, whilst the BFS is underway. Suspect we may see more newsflow from now onwards. | andrea152 |
