Wow all the weak hands getting shaken out, this is some crazy bipolar price movement excellent results, debt repaid, dividend announced and it tanks 8%.

I think the low support level is at 420p. Got a feeling it will consolidate between 420-500 then eventually breakout like it did last year in October. I'm ready to buy more if it hits 420.

Excellent results from a great company and another dividend to look forward to. We are in the historically choppy waters of the summer for the markets, I think we’ll see the true value here come the end of September early October but I’ll be holding until then and pick up the dividend along the way

Excellent results as everyone knew they would be.

My revenue and EPS guesses were somewhat higher than the results. I guess that's due to movement in inventory/stock, and a near doubling of shipping costs which I hadn't factored in. Also I'd only used the China quoted prices. A fair chunk of sales would've been elsewhere.

That dividend though! Brings us to 105.6 cents in 2021. That's a 15.8% yield at 475p. Still a 10.2% yield after Swiss Withholding Tax. And the dividend is growing, due to debt being fully repaid.

The share price reaction - good call Thags. I hoped the results and dividend would speak for themselves, and the market would react.

Overall, how can anyone be disappointed by those numbers and that dividend? Incredible stuff.

The £5 barrier is proving to be a very tough nut to crack when you think that this reached 500p in 2011 with huge debt, less production volume and far lower quality the market really does not like this share at all. like BB said you have to take a long term view with this one with the 20 mta target and the 67% pellets. be interested to know who this buyer is for 67% I know they have been shipping to the US with a small sample and if china are serious about climate effects and not just price manipulation which I feel are their real motives then the direction they're taking is good and will hopefully be rewarded with a strong pellet premium. In terms of dividends I am on track to receive a 50% dividend this calendar year so I feel they have got the balance right with paying off debt, paying dividends and future proofing the company

These are both stellar results and a little disappointing - I was hoping for more. However, if they were results for a full financial year I could still make a good case for the current share price. Very cheap - I was happy to hoover up some more earlier.

It's the usual thing of price dropping on good news. Only a blip. And for those with some spare cash another buying opportunity.
I expect a slow climb back up in the following week as we approach dividend qualification day and then another drop of course afterwards. The usual pattern.

It would be great to see true value reflected in this company. We've talked it to death, all the positives and negatives, which still remain.
We just have to remember the future proofing developments being instigated and how this will ultimately affect value and profits. It takes time. We're talking a few years here.

I'll keep taking the dividends in the meantime and hope that the positives outweigh the negatives. We pretty much know what they are.

Lodgeview, maybe we will hit £5 later today? Who knows with this share. Chuck share price logic out of the window and put your trust in the business.

Best wishes to long term holders.

Market probably spooked by the vast sums of money they are spending rather than returning 100% of it back to share holders like some of the other more diversified miners. Disappointing results considering the huge premium which probably will not be so strong going forward.

I've seen this share being manipulated far too long. I did feel the market have priced in the fall of the iron ore price so doesn't expect future revenues to be as strong. We all knew results would be good so the recent run up priced it in. Let's see if it can claw back the drop or descend further down to the 400-420 level, whatever happens we know how bipolar this is and often doesn't make any sense.

I was expecting higher revenues (c. $1.5 billion, rather than $1.35 billion) and profits, and I think bozzy_s was as well.

Perhaps the market took a similar view, hence this morning's pull back.

I guess it's possible that they are testing resolve of holders to hold while markets hoover up to sell at a good profit later?

Phew. Bought back in at 476. Too hasty by the looks of the share price at the mo. Sold half my holding yesterday. Thanks Thags for questioning whether we might see a retracement on results. Crazy really that these things happen. The figures are stellar and close to those predicted by Bozzy.
Could it be the geo political uncertainty mentioned or have I missed something?
