18/3/2022 07:58 | Yeah, we'll all have our accounts frozen for supporting Putin's war! | gaffer73
18/3/2022 07:45 | I've signed the petition, but I'm now worried the government will strip me of my British citizenship because I own shares in a Russian linked company. | coscos
18/3/2022 07:22 | It's working now. Use the link below. | gaffer73
18/3/2022 07:15 | Yes. I tried on my phone too but there every Evraz URL gets the Forbidden page. I'll have to try again later, if it's hackers perhaps they'll have a pizza break. If it works for others though it must be my internet provider. | zangdook
18/3/2022 07:05 | Great set of results by GLO today, have a read. | turvart
18/3/2022 06:59 | Zangdook, did you click the terms button? | turvart
18/3/2022 06:57 | When I click the petition link I get a page which says 'Forbidden'. I can get to the petition by going to the home page and clicking 'learn more' at the top right. Still, nothing happens when I fill in the form and click 'continue'. | zangdook
18/3/2022 05:57 | Thanks Turvart. Signed as requested. Annoying double standard with the UK govt bending over backwards to help RA offload Chelski where he is 100% owner, yet cracking down on us here even though he is a minority shareholder. Makes no sense. | purplepelmets
18/3/2022 05:03 | Zangdook, "If that is the problem then every company in which he holds shares would need to be suspended, even if he only has a small number." This is where the answer would be in hindsight, if RA had purchased shares in loads of Ftse 100 stocks then the whole index would need suspending of which would not have happened, so this suspension is basically all red tape IMO. I wonder if RA could still buy shares in Ftse 100 companies? might be worth trying IMO to give himself a good case lol. | turvart
18/3/2022 04:36 | Nice one Gary. | turvart

18/3/2022 03:32 | Can everyone that holds shares in EVRAZ please go to Evraz website and sign the petition, Thanks. | turvart
17/3/2022 15:59 | assuming ge still has a large holding, a forced sale by a big seller would hit the share price even more I would have thought . Anyway , should be good trading opportunites if it is not delisted . | arja
17/3/2022 15:35 | If that is the problem then every company in which he holds shares would need to be suspended, even if he only has a small number. | zangdook
17/3/2022 13:03 | Limited trading could be made available if the systems could identify if buy/sells were made by a SIPP or ISA holder but that is wishful thinking as the free float would be quite small. | scrwal
17/3/2022 10:43 | I think the problem is likely to be the need to ensure Abramovich could not trade his shares. Remember there is a sanction, the shares have not been seized. In other words they still belong to him. But he can’t/shouldn& What mechanism enables that, but also allows everyone else to trade? | the millipede
17/3/2022 10:36 | When governments rush out new legislation, very often they haven't thoroughly researched the whole spectrum of legal challenge that can be made against it. EVRAZ has a strong legal case if they were to pursue it as there's a clear anomaly between what the new sanctioning rules are and what the position of EVRAZ actually is. However, I'm sure the company is in no rush to go to court at this time when Russophobia is so hot. There's plenty of time for that later if need be depending on HM Treasury response. | coscos
17/3/2022 09:48 | Yes, I wasn't serious about that. But given the suspension was "pending clarification" and given that the rationale behind the sanctions was clearly made up by some jobsworth who did zero research, I can't help wishing there was some way to get the clarification clarified. | zangdook
17/3/2022 09:30 | Sue the government, ask them to substantiate their lies about Abramovich and tanks. When they can't, remove the suspension. | zangdook

16/3/2022 13:52 | shoudl Evraz be providing an update to investors or is this all in hands of Gov.uk or FTSE? just wanting to keep tabs on this and wondering who is even steering the ship in terms of what happens next? | porters_
16/3/2022 10:07 | You can imagine all 10 of them crushing through the door at the same time, must have been a hell of a squeeze, a bundle of ten bodies. | my retirement fund
16/3/2022 10:06 | Should shares in Evraz (#EVR) have been suspended by the FCA? I suggest not. See https://t.co/QYNXPoG | sbb1x
