20/4/2022 14:27 | While some people feel it is bad that EVR do not release the trading update because they want to see how their investment is doing, just remember it's been in temporary suspension. EVR have probably taken legal advice and been advised not to release trading update because they are probably damned if they do well and damned if they don't. It must be hard for EVR bod to know what to do in this strange suspension that is not really warranted. | turvart
20/4/2022 01:47 | Interesting. Afaics non-Russian companies with Russian assets, like EVR, are unaffected. There isn't, yet, a direct threat to ownership rights of assets. | zangdook

12/4/2022 13:08 | I spoke to Investor relations in Moscow, London not answering. Unable to say much, understandably, they are trying to communicate with the OFSCI. 70 % of losers here are not sanctioned. Have written to my MP. I do not think those American workers in the film will be allowed to be made redundant. | gfrae
12/4/2022 10:40 | Interesting question. They can be paid by unlisted companies, so unless there's a specific rule against it I don't see why not. | zangdook
12/4/2022 10:33 | I know the dividend was cancelled !But can dividends be paid while being suspended? | sbb1x
12/4/2022 07:49 | Gets better -------------------- All apparently. So the kremlin can still obtain gas from the Uk, gazprom is awarded the national lottery, funds to go where yes the kremlin, but I cannot access my evr stake due to a nonsense non controlling aspect. I think we need to get the legals involved. We should be writing to the fsa and the government. dyor | srpactive
10/4/2022 07:54 | How wrong is this, government again. Russian state-owned gas giant Gazprom is still extracting gas from the North Sea despite western efforts to cut off the Kremlin following its war on Ukraine. So they let 100% controlled company by the Kremlin continue to do the above but not a company not controlled by 30% shareholder RM. Effecting in turn me a non linked person trading a stock I hold. This is another extract from the silly government have not got a clue notepad. Rishi was a trader was he not? Shorter perhaps? dyor | srpactive

07/4/2022 13:11 | Yes, here is the confirmation for both 2023 & 2024 ; Evraz meets obligations under 2024 Eurobond payment MOSCOW. April 5 (Interfax) - Evraz has met its obligations to pay a coupon on Eurobonds maturing in 2024 with $700 million outstanding, the steel and mining giant told Interfax. Evraz said that Bank of New York Mellon informed the issuer that the regular coupon payment had been transferred to the corresponding paying agent account. "On April 4, 2022, the issuer received confirmation from the main paying agent that the coupon payment was sent to investors in a timely manner through the relevant clearing systems," it said. The paying agent for Evraz Eurobonds maturing in 2023 notified the company at the end of March about the transfer of the coupon payment, which was previously blocked by the correspondent bank due to sanctions compliance grounds, which potentially threatened the company with the risk of default. Evraz had tried to pay $18.9 million on the 2023 bonds but this had been blocked by correspondent bank Societe Generale New York for compliance reasons. "The company understands that the situation has its roots in the recently emerged uncertainties upon decision of the HM Treasury, Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation to include one of company's shareholders Roman Abramovich, owning 28.64% stake, in the extended sanctions list." Evraz said at the time. "The company continues to stand on the position that Roman Abramovich does not have effective control of the company," it said. | novicetrade68

02/4/2022 16:38 | They had an RNS cancelling the dividends but EVR sent all the money out because they forgot about the RNS and the banks refused to give it to anyone who posts on advfn because they had their beer sanctioned. | turvart
02/4/2022 14:51 | We're the dividends paid and did they reach the investors ? Thanks | 1viky
02/4/2022 13:47 | It would just be good to get this suspension lifted whatever the price but personally IMO I can see at least a 280p area open, don't forget most of the price drop was fear of suspension not the fundamentals. | turvart
02/4/2022 10:25 | Nah. That £1.88 will be discounted by the same amount as the rest of the share is so probably be worth about 25% or 47p a share on top of the suspended price. Once the suspension is lifted though my guess is the share price will do what Polymetal’s share price has. Until then cross your fingers and hope for peace. | dil 21
01/4/2022 14:21 | A better question would be, when this re-opens after suspension are we expecting a significant jump from the current 82p to £2.70, to reflect the £1.88 demerger element that is no longer applicable.......tho | casket1 |
