Lets face it the BOD's of most small companies have no interest in creating shareholder value so long as they get their £100,000's salaries. If their salaries relied on performance maybe they'd buck their ideas up.

FFS how long does it take to run some test?!!! EDR carrying on as where they left off when a 'listed' company.

will did sound optimistic that the extension would be allowed. I guess that opens up the data room and negotiations for a partner again... Only failure priced in at the moment, so a deal on Irish 'could' get us back to previous share price levels..imo

Wonder if the tweet relates to news coming on licence extension.

here is the requisition letter send by BNY Mellon to Reabold on behalf of nominee account holders. This is what Europa shareholders need to do to ensure their requisition is legally acceptable.

Spangle you are spot on.
A reboot is an excellent term and peeps who have read the Action Group's plans will understand this.
Also imo to liken PB's stewardship with Will's is nonsense.

To add colour to Tony Norstrom's point

In 2009's annual report, the main differences are that Paul Barrett earned £137k and the company made a profit before and after tax, even in the year of the GFC.

He and Dr Syba also owned 16.8MM shares of the 62.5MM shares in issue, so they were financially affected by the share price.

I don't know if this has been covered on LSE but I don't believe Mr Barrett is seeking to run the company - I thought the shareholder action was intended to reboot the board with appropriate people.

We may be "revolting" but we have the moral high ground & it is going to be all about getting one of the larger shareholders such as WA to break ranks & see that little Willie is now the obstacle & not the future!!

Will is bound to have supporters but I'm afraid I'm not one of them.
He has scant regard for the owners of the company and imo this will not change.
Up the revolution.

That would be fantastic but sadly with the current BOD it is probably just fantasy

perhaps its just time to sell wressle for 2.6p a share and hand the dosh back to shareholders, leaving the cash they have on hand in case serenity or Irish move forward.

From tonynorstrom1 on the other board.

Just to left fellow investor here know - I did get a compreshensive response from Will Holland to some pretty tough questions on the attempted call for an EGM - so hats off to Will. I want to go back to him with some follow up questions and then maybe I will share a little more. Part of the response was that he has engaged with a big proportion of the larger shareholders who are supportive of the current strategy. It did not answer all of my concerns hence the intention for follow up questions but the overall response was reasonable.

I would also add that Paul Barret has not responded to all the questions I have asked him - I've sent him about 4 emails and I have a response to 2 I think. One of the early emails pointed out that the share price performance has been shocking really from the Inception of EOG - pull up a long term chart and with the exception of a few samll period of growth - the long term trajectory has been catestrophically lower including during his term. So the question to him was that you oversaw a significant decline in shareprice during your tenure - why should current shareholders support you now - seems a fair enough question?

My understanding is the CPR delay is down to ERC

Just watched WH claiming he didn't want to break the law. But is it actually illegal to convene a GM with < 5% calling for it?! It's illegal NOT to if > 5%, but I'm not sure that implies anything about the converse.

i thought a cpr was independent ?
they didnt check the last one, published an old chart that said the oil was depleting when it was actually producing a lot higher

it may simply be due diligence - surely shareholders wouldn't be impressed if the CPR was published without an independent 3rd party checking it?

Oh no - an audit of the cpr could mean supporting "other public fund-raising initiatives".

yes he did mention auditors - found this via google

A Competent Person’s Report (CPR) is required as part of a prospectus or admission document for an oil and gas or minerals company in its Initial Public Offering (IPO) or to support other public fund-raising initiatives. The report is prepared by a Competent Person (CP) who is a professionally qualified engineer or geologist. Although the CP is engaged by the Company, the function of a CPR is to provide an independent view on the Reserves or Resources of the Company’s asset(s) for potential investors. The CPR should be dated not more than six months from the date of the prospectus. The CPR is then audited by banks, accounting firms, and financial sponsors who rely on the CPR when raising money on the capital markets, or to support merger and acquisition (M&A) activity

WH said the CPR should be out in a week or two - that was 30.11 so maybe next week along with production data for Wressle?
