29/11/2023 17:54 | @grey Panther, ref your comments about the share price decline under Paul Barrett and Erika Syba. The main difference is that they together held about 25% of the company shares in issue (I don't have documents going back that far but in Jan 2011, Paul Barrett held 16% personally, and I recall that Dr Syba had a comparable holding). Ironically one of the reasons that they were "encouraged" to step down was the perception among larger investors that because of their large stake, it was just a lifestyle company for them. At least they were aligned with the investors then. Contrast that with the meagre holding of the current omnishambles - they have no meaningful skin in the game, and therefore no driver to add shareholder value | spangle93
29/11/2023 15:04 | He might be for it if they gave him a job, like Mark Abbot | currypasty
29/11/2023 14:59 | It's not his decision, it's the shareholders who would decide. | gaffer73
29/11/2023 13:06 | I agree - but if Will won't listen to shareholders why would he listen to a predator who would likely boot him out. Suet | suetballs
29/11/2023 12:59 | Well there surely can’t be any better time if an entity was to make a move. Sentiment and share price on the floor. | christy41
29/11/2023 12:54 | it does seem that way gaffer | currypasty
29/11/2023 12:38 | Knock the price down before an offer then it looks like a good deal. We've had the knock down, awaiting the offer. | gaffer73
29/11/2023 12:37 | I think we'll be bought out soon. | gaffer73
29/11/2023 12:32 | Probably so busy (irony) that they didn't even know the locals had been updated until DB tipped them off. | 4sta
29/11/2023 12:17 | its pathetic, almost as if they want to downplay the Wressle development, and only issued these RNS's due to shareholders asking why locals get inside info before shareholders | currypasty
29/11/2023 11:06 | Sorry posted before I saw Suet, I would go for either, whichever gives shareholders best value | jedc1
29/11/2023 11:05 | That would work for me as well | jedc1
29/11/2023 11:04 | No merger please I want our current Board out with lots of cost savings. Trade sale will do me. Suet | suetballs

29/11/2023 10:59 | As a shareholder in EOG and the shambles that it is I’m also heavily into UJO and I just posted this up on the UJO BB Come on David go for a merger with EOG especially now the board is in chaos mode after getting rid of those muppets You wouldn’t have to pay much and a mix of cash and shares the shareholders over there would welcome such a move the only negative would be YOU but I’m sure we could sort that out later So David show some balls and get EOG into the UJO stable it makes sense I suppose the bad thing for you would having to do a bit of work 🤷a | thetoonarmy2
29/11/2023 10:46 | unfortunately statements like that are meaningless as the company can simply say "an unforeseen opportunity has arisen" etc etc UJO's Bramhill famously said in an interview "fully funded, no fund raise" just a few weeks before raising millions...words are cheap with these companies | likeawalrus
29/11/2023 10:22 | They stated in the AGM rns that they have no intention to raise capital, therefore I assume the share price matters little to them in the short term. | adnatrob
29/11/2023 09:58 | Just received a small divi so had another 25k. Every little helps - but maybe not! Suet | suetballs
29/11/2023 09:26 | A sale of 188 shares has gone through . Could this one of the directors selling their holding ? | talkman2
29/11/2023 09:19 | I agree but can the current BOD actually get the share price moving with the amount of discontent | jedc1
29/11/2023 09:00 | I topped up sub 1p yesterday, based on Wressle alone the company is undervalued imo | likeawalrus
29/11/2023 08:29 | Tbh can’t see any upward movement in the share price until Holland and co are sorted. Probably good value now but many will be cautious - so a good time to buy? Suet | suetballs |
