19/1/2024 07:13 | Nice new options - I would have been a lot happier if they'd kept the old ones! Suet | suetballs
19/1/2024 05:55 | Maybe his wife holds stock | oilbuy
18/1/2024 18:38 | WA increasing his holding. After hours RNS. | christy41
18/1/2024 17:59 | Yes after reading his Europa posts, he didnt report on the outcome of the withdrawal of resolutions and 2 BODs having to resign before they were voted off. It doesnt appear unbiased so I would expect he is being paid for something, probably his broadcasts. So another person to take at less than face value. | jedc1
18/1/2024 12:32 | many posters have said malcy is paid by the companies he interviews. if that's true it's hard to see how he is impartial despite not owning shares | likeawalrus
17/1/2024 17:03 | I understand that Malcy does not hold any positions in the junior O&G sector, despite devoting his study and analysis to it — presumably because he can then claim impartiality. I get the point, but to my mind there is nothing wrong with eating your own cooking. It's OK to say “I see better prospects elsewhere, and so I'm not a holder” or “because I like this company, I own shares in it”. | meanreverter
17/1/2024 09:37 | I wonder how many shares he has bought? | jedc1
17/1/2024 09:15 | Well if Malcy is confident….. Suet | suetballs
16/1/2024 21:14 | Malcy yesterday “Expansion away from both Wressle and indeed the UK onshore is very wise policy and shareholders should appreciate what Will Holland and his team are up to. If EG works as soon as this year and I believe that it will, it will soon show signs of rewarding the investment they have made.” | tommy241
16/1/2024 19:36 | couple of late reported bigish buys | currypasty
16/1/2024 19:15 | GreyPanther - EOG have made it very clear, it’s one well and 2 sidetracks, estimated cost in total is c.$50mil. In which EOG/Antler will be free carried. Peanuts to neighbouring Chevron | tommy241
16/1/2024 16:54 | Got a long way to go back to 3.5p, where little Willie destroyed it from m8!! He should be on a more reasonable £150,000 salary & bonuses from 3.5p, not paid for PR bullsh1t with Directors taking all the profits & none of the risk!! Post Office scandal, Rochdale scandal, how about the AIM scandal eh?!!!!!!!!!!!! | enfranglais
16/1/2024 16:18 | price recovering a little | currypasty
16/1/2024 14:41 | Investor Meet presentation in case some haven’t seen it. Also on the company website. | christy41
16/1/2024 14:28 | Gretpanther No, they say in their presentation that they can reach all 3 targets from a single well with sidetracks Slide 12 " all three can be drilled from a single well with 2 side tracks at a cost of ~US$50mm." | spangle93
16/1/2024 14:26 | Shell stops all transportation of oil through the red sea, oil most likely spike up?!! | grannyboy
16/1/2024 13:55 | Hi Tommy231. The chances of anyone (EOG or the operator) getting a free carry for three wells in EG are next to nil, in my opinion. That's the number of wells they must to drill to have a better than 90% chance of success, which is basd on what EOG have stated. | greypanther2
16/1/2024 13:34 | I still smell something "Odious"!!!!!!!!!!!! | enfranglais
16/1/2024 11:18 | Jedc1 I suggest you read the EG agreement RNS and supporting information again | tommy241
15/1/2024 23:13 | They haven't farmed out. That is how they are liable. | jedc1
15/1/2024 18:26 | GreyPanther - please explain how EOG would be bankrupt when they’re not liable for any costs following a free carry. | tommy241
15/1/2024 17:40 | It's telling us oddie is still around lurking in the shadows pulling little willies strings ... | slicethepie
15/1/2024 17:26 | I thought the plan was to farm out EG not try to drill it ourselves - a farm in for all three prospects, so not an additional financial drain. If we don’t want to believe the mathematical probability we can just say the prospects are not independent, so this calculation doesn’t apply. Haven’t got evidence either way on that. | rederic1
15/1/2024 16:28 | Hi meanreverter. I came up with the same(90%+) CoS that you've shown in your calculations but unfortunately I don't believe it. EOG would have to drill all three prospects to have a near certainty of making one discovery, and before that happened we would be bankrupt. I'd agree, though, that that EOG's geologist must have disregarded at least one geological risk factor in calculating the odds. I wonder if it was an important one! | greypanther2 |
