When you have this much dissension with the quality of the BOD, where is the share price going? There are a significant number of PI's who have voiced their opinion that they are not happy. This will stay 1p until we change the BOD, all of them!

As regards the EGM - once validly called by shareholders - the Board must call the meeting within 3 weeks. If the Board fails to do so the shareholders can call the meeting 3 months from the date of request.
That's my understanding so time could be of the essence.

I cant see a bid coming but I have wondered if a few Europa shares are on Bramhill's Christmas list. He did well investing in Egdon and he has recently bought into Bacon...I wont mention the UJO elephant in the room, oh ok I will, Elephant Oil is one of his worst investments despite maintaining a very healthy reval in the 2022 accounts. He could do a lot worse than a few million Europa shares at 1.15p

From the other board, posted by brightside.
Perhaps PB will also comment later.

have just returned home from today’s AGM. Although two directors have resigned and some see this as progress it was made clear that the directors will be replaced, therefore no overall savings.

The year was described as being a successful one, clearly they do not define success as increasing shareholder value.

Will Holland talked through the same presentation as has been seen previously. Much was said about Cloughton, however, this lies under a national park and the only available pads would be on the duchy of Lancaster land. Duchy of Lancaster, controlled by King Charles, who is the well-known environmentalist And therefore I think it’s highly unlikely, he would give permission for such drilling to take place. There are some plans for further drilling at Wressle but I got no great sense of urgency.

Ireland remains the great hope but is still politically challenging and most majors will not touch it given the uncertainty.

Twenty eight possible projects have been explored, they have bid on four of them ( I presume Serenity was one of them).

They have also bid on the North Sea in the current round but they will not hear until the round is completed. I didn’t get the sense that they are about

The directors wouldn't agree with that and therein lies the problem.
That's why the Action Group must prevail.

absolutely... there is no need for two companies holding the same main asset, neither being operator

They should merge with UJO consolidate the costs much cheaper than they are now also get rid of Bramhill then we need to hire a proper person to run it.

Stewart - has he got enough votes to remain? The big money goes to him and Holland.

they should have added a pay cut to those remaining, until the shareprice is over 3p again

They had to withdraw the resolutions because the vote would have been a total embarrassment and humiliation. The BOD have ignored the justified ire of genuine shareholders.

Shareholders should give thanks to the great Oddie for his wonderful job and bringing us Serenity . So pleased he’s gone .

I think they've definitely got the message. Oddie and Williams sacrificed - will Alistair Stewart fall at the AGM?
That's important.
If so straight to the EGM - we have the necessary shareholdings to force one.

What they should say is.
Shareholders have decided to sack the two directors due to poor performance and for being overpaid for what they do.
Who next.
