21/11/2022 08:06 | It's only MOUs so isn't the implication to OCP that they either make their move now or the deal gets sealed? | donald pond
21/11/2022 08:00 | I see also that it's for a "minimum" of 500k tons between them. Realistically I doubt that the offtakes would have difficulty selling the products so is this really a 100% offtake for all 700+ ktons? | cyberbub
21/11/2022 07:56 | Yes that was my first thought also. Excellent news on the offtakes, but what will OCP and the Moroccan Govt say? We'd been assuming that OCP would take most/all of the output as they need potash for their own fert production. They may not be happy with this news - on the other hand I doubt Emerson would have been working on this without OCP being aware... | cyberbub
21/11/2022 07:34 | A great start there, 65/50% of MOP/SOP off-take MOU’s, and underpins the banks debt requirements for lending on the project, both Swiss offtakers and not OCP which is also an interesting turn.. We could have a busy day here.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner

18/11/2022 17:04 | Don’t embarrass yourself Smelly, your “promised 2.5 years ago” is totally incorrect, the ESIA submission was only completed on 18th Nov 2020, was reported by RNS, that’s 2 years to the day from submission, been changes requested in relation to water which the company have amended, this is a significant project so was always going to take time. Maybe it’s time to go long again. | lendmeafiver
18/11/2022 16:46 | What the ESIA that they promised 2.5 years ago Mr PI staker 🤣 | qsmeily456

14/11/2022 19:54 | LLB I think you're going way over the top on $750M. Yes the $411M is a couple of years out of date now, but not 35% out of date... Plus as I recall it already included a decent contingency - just check the FS. Also the company have stated 70/30 as being the target debt/equity split. I believe their financial forecasts included using some of the capital to pay interest on the debt, that should have always been expected. Finally, the money they've raised this year (albeit relatively small) will be deducted from the capex.I don't think the company will need to raise more than $175M in the equity portion of the package.Bear in mind that while capex has gone up, the business case is at least as good as before IMO, due to the higher prices and likely long-term increased demand. But if they are really struggling for some reason (you wouldn't think an IRR which must be about 50% in the current potash price environment would have difficulty even in the current markets??) they still have the fallback option of the smaller initial plant, which will actually be better for shareholders long term...NAI DYOR etc | cyberbub
14/11/2022 19:24 | #Cyberbub, I doubt very much the share price will be bumbling along at sub 5 pence once the ESIA is granted.. :o) Funding will come in many forms to close on the full amount of a mine build, USD411M at the last count but to bring that up to date probably nearer 550M with inflation on costs, add in some contingency of +50M then to fund the companies operations for the build period and service the debt element at 10% until cashflows in year 3, call it USD750M all in.. A lot to package, so at a par for the course 60/40 debt to equity the syndicated banks will demand it discounted back to buy it all, my best guess at this point would be a spike post ESIA of 10-15 pence then it settle back to 10 pence followed by a raise at around 8 pence.. None of it will matter much if we get taken out by OCP though, a very interesting period for the companies develpment and of Khemisset.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
