I agree - there is news in the coming weeks for sure. Today's RNS was a positive sign of intent to me.Just gotta sit back and wait.

Micky I'm guessing you a glass half full kinda guy lol. I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble its a very easy mistake to make, I made the same one on first glance, people just need clarification, otherwise we are assuming.

I see this only as a positive really, It's pence and not fractions of a pence guys it's just been poorly written. This to me shows a statement of intent that this is a goer. Watch this space over the next couple of months. Just keep patient (I know it can be difficult). The news we are all waiting for will come. Have faith in the team, always have.

Well judging by the flood of replies there is clearly interest as there seems a lot of new names . I’m in agreement that it’s clearly pence . We wanted news ... now we have it . Incentives for the board to deliver . I can see this starting to climb back up from tomorrow . I could be wrong . My gut feeling is there will be/more news just around the corner

Lew, again chill. It’s a great RNS and means the project has probably moved significantly in the last 6 weeks so we should see some good news stories appearing soon. The board are obviously ensuring their hard work is going to make them a decent bonus. Honestly delighted to see it especially as I had tweeted Hayden and EML to say the investors on the boards were getting a bit nervy and was affecting the share price Tweet was about an hour before the RNS lol 😄👍🤞🍺 7866;🍺Ӿ66;

Sorry APfindley I disagree this needs to be clarified. I agree that it is more than likely to be 5p 6p etc rather than a fraction of a pence but after reviewing the rns again that is NOT what it states.

The timing of this is also poor, it sends the wrong message. No-one has a problem with options to directors but not when key mile stones yet to be achieved.

A lot of nonsense talk about decimal points. The people talking about it are fully aware that it means pence. Also, the world over, stockprices are quoted in fractions of the main currency, not in the base units of the currency. The only error here is omitting the pound sign before the first zero.Laughable talk on here.

Ah thanks Cottoner, I see where you are coming from, it needs to be clarified. It would be ridiculous if it wasn't 5p etc a share, might as well just say they are free to be honest!!!

£0.05 is 5p. £0.10 is 10p.

0.05p is not 5p. 0.10p is not 10p.

That's the confusion.

The rns seems clear to me, there is essentially very cheap options at 0.001 then after that its 5p 6p 7p & then 10p. I don't understand the confusion. 0.05 is 5p, 0.1 is 10p for example.

May help?

Previously EML granted directors options in June 2018 in conjuction of the re-admission of EML to the LSE.

At that time all the options were granted with an exercise price of 3p.

"On 4 June 2018 and in conjunction with the business combination, the Placing and Re-Admission of theCompany to the London Stock Exchange, the Company granted the following share options all with an exercise price of 3 penceand a maximum life of five years from the date they were issued. The options vest in four equal portions on the date of grant, andon the 6, 12 and 18 month anniversaries."

This seems to support the notion that the ones issued today will be largely (except for some allocated to GC) have an exercise price of 5p, 6p , 7p and 10p.

He says hopefully. :-)

Agree whi cares about how many free or cheap shares management get so long as they deliver and we all profit. Dont think this rns will lift share price though as not really significant

Agreed Harrisun, though to be honest as long as we don't see any significant dilution I literally wouldn't care if the options were free. Ultimately if the share price gets near or above £1 these guys will have earned a damn good bonus & delivered on their promise, none of us are going to care about a few shares. This is a result of the AGM, some shares used to raise capital the rest now being allocated to the management.

Yes def. How can they publish these ambiguous numbers
yasyas1
05/8/2020
17:17
That depends on the cost to exercise the options

Lew its not standard to quote .05p if its 5p? Needs clarification.

Its either decimal based on a pound i.e. £1.05 in which case 0.05 is expressed in terms of its decimal value compared to a pound. If however as the rns shows as .05p that is 1/20th of a penny!

Just seen the RNS info, seems pretty standard especially as EML aren't flush with cash... by giving them shares instead of high salaries or cash bonus it motivates them to deliver as they have a vested interest in the projects success.

Something you may be missing out on here, is the pure fact that they are granting options. You don’t go through the admin process of granting them, unless you’re pretty damn sure that times are about to get good.

I've replied to their news Tweet...although admittedly I have only had one reply from them previously (regards remote access to the AGM) so not holding out for much

They should reissue the RNS making it clear exactly how much these options are for.

I have contacted the company, as if they are fractions of a penny, I would not be amused.

Sadly the company website is not sending emails to the company via its web site. Not helpful

Have now got a message through for clarification for the avoidance of any doubt.

I can't see the RNS!? I'm assuming GC has just got some option to the tune of 1.5m shares? That's pretty standard I'd have thought, as Micky points out let's hope this is due to some good work he has completed!

Is there any evidence that the decimal points are not in fact fractions of a penny? Would never surprise me as AIM BoD's look after themselves very well indeed.

Haha. All of us do.

True someone's not very good how to express numerically but bottom line, as has been said, not many are in the money now; majority need the share price over 5p and then some if they want to make a profit which they obviously will so not really a snouts in the trough job. Timely RNS.

Bought today my first investment here but I hope the project numbers were not done by the same guy who did the decimal points in the RNS .... :)
