Don't panic they will make loads of money again now they're stripping out the back row of seats Unfortunate that the actions of one unhinged dictator can tip the entire world into recession, it was looking good for a recovery until the invasion

It went very quiet here after the last results announcement. The ceo says improved trading (as he says every quarter) but the business books another half a billion pound loss even with all this claimed enthusiasm for the 'summer season'. Last quarter the ceo said that the business was almost at 2019 levels. Turns out that either that's a lie or costs have risen so much that the business is still lossmaking even at near 2019 levels.

In case anyone here doesn't know the significance of 2019 levels; that was the busiest year EVER for aviation. So it looks like the only way easyjet can start to clear its debt, apart from yet another rights issues, is for aviation to get even more popular during what will be another big recession. Easyjet customers are looking at a triple whammy - rising mortgage costs and general rises in cost of living; rising taxes to pay for covid and the Ukraine conflict; massive drop in the pound due to Brexit impact.

easyjet is heading back down again now - £4 will be coming soon I strongly suspect. DYOR. A recession is coming - there's no avoiding it imo.

As covid restrictions now eased in most countries airlines such as Easyjet and BA are becoming full, which is good news, but poses challenges of having enough ground and crew to meet this pent up demand. So many have waited so long to travel again and now they can.

Its out of the 1645 flights, most airlines are having the same staffing issues. This will probably cost them 10m, but on the plus it shows the demand for flights.Hopefully they can sort the staffing issues soon

Covid on the rise. Brexit, covid, Putin, wheezing fat boris bunter and the self harmers, U.K. listed crxp cannot catch a break, most of it at covid lows, buy yourselves some Goog or Msft or Tesla instead of wasting time effort and money on debt ridden shxt like this. Ftse 100 doomed and this will need another capital raise. Will see 3.45 last price support by end of June.

Is that a good or bad thing? Good for revenue but wouldn't easy want ppl to book at higher prices as if not fully hedged it's not gonna translate into better profits. We were all forecasting a summer big recovery but if margins are lowered then why will be hit the same heights before this Ukraine mess started

Well this year is expected to have a surge in bookings so maybe airline stocks be the ones that do well from this point on. Have this in my pf that's so far in the green and I think 700p in the next 2 or 3 mths is a possibility. Its been there or near there recently twice so if covid is pretty much off the radar and restrictions easing all across the world then hopefully this stock will do very well.

I'm told there has been a massive surge in flight bookings over the weekend as people get their flights booked before the expected substantial increase in fuel costs ?

Got in at 470p. Tested twice before and went on to highs of around 700p. 420p was a brilliant buy and it looks to want to stay or move above 500p.
