21/2/2024 08:16 | FTSE100 re-entry is a pivotal moment in the recovery. It marks the progress so far and will bring new opportunities with fund trades which will support volume buying. The noise around a potential Nasdaq listing, talk of easyjet becoming the UK largest holiday provider and the continuation of profit escalation adds another dimension to the investment. The rise will continue but easyJet needs a breakout day. It's coming. | sapphireblue1
20/2/2024 18:55 | Alliance News) - easyJet PLC is favourite to return to the top table of London-listed large-caps, according to indicative index changes by FTSE Russell on Tuesday. Final index review findings are released on February 28, using data from a day earlier. Based on closing on data as of Friday, budget carrier easyJet is primed for a return to the FTSE 100. easyJet was sent to the FTSE 100 departure lounge back in June 2020, after the Covid-19 pandemic sapped demand for travel and emptied skies. However, its outlook has improved since then and earnings have improved. | sapphireblue1
20/2/2024 08:51 | Positive steps. This is a big turnaround year for easyJet. A very modest dividend is about to be secured. This time next year it's likely to be 4x bigger in my opinion. | sapphireblue1
19/2/2024 22:47 | Hope they do, Ryan Air and Tui went that way and it's done them no harm | 1224saj
19/2/2024 17:43 | Nice finish to the day £4m UT. I don't think that we'll see anything linked to the dividend date as it's such a small amount it's not worth the fees getting in and out. I think that February 12th below £5.50 was the opportunity. I wouldn't be surprised if this adds 50p in the next few weeks. Rerates are always a bit painful, there will be many selling much too soon. I have a minimum 1 year window. | sapphireblue1
19/2/2024 04:51 | Seems a logical step to me. | sapphireblue1
16/2/2024 07:42 | Wednesday 28th February we'll hear if easyjet have been promoted back into the top 100. They closed at £5.56 on 31 January. They may well step up this month and are heading for a move up. | sapphireblue1
15/2/2024 14:08 | I look back to the start of November when I was talking about the next rise to £4. Since the trend has been established and supported. It looks set to continue in my opinion. | sapphireblue1
15/2/2024 13:20 | Talk of 7,8,9 squid any time soon still seems crazy to me. Then again, only 3 months ago with the share price in the 3.50 range, talk of a 5.70 share price any time soon might have raised a few eyebrows too so wtf do I know. Target circa 8 quid by Nov 2025 but if it happens this Nov, bloody great. | chiefbrody
15/2/2024 09:51 | Looks like a little crossover from the JET2 update today. | shallwe
15/2/2024 08:40 | Not at all £7-9 in the summer looks very achievable if disruption is minimal. 620 is my immediate target. The trend is well supported. 620 goes to the top of the range and we'll see a settled period into H1 trading update in April. | sapphireblue1
15/2/2024 08:22 | It could well overshoot as these things often do. I'm hoping for 700p by summer. Call me greedy! | pinemartin9
15/2/2024 08:17 | Looks like this leg will go to 620 before pulling back just above 600. Momentum and trend established into the premium travel period. | sapphireblue1
14/2/2024 10:47 | £733k buy shows some confidence. | sapphireblue1
14/2/2024 08:17 | noramping I think that it's you who needs the help. | sapphireblue1
14/2/2024 07:55 | Makes sense. The chart is looking ready for the next leg of the rerate through £6. Supporting momentum with positive performance and restricting operating complications are what this share needs to get to a representative level. | sapphireblue1
14/2/2024 07:43 | DEUTSCHE BANK RESEARCH RAISES EASYJET PRICE TARGET TO 670 (635) PENCE - 'BUY' | bigbigdave
14/2/2024 07:11 | noramping no you won't be buying anytime soon and you certainly wouldn't buy based on information on an anonymous public billboard. The purpose of your post was just to support the fact that you won't be buying anytime soon. If you have no interest here and won't anytime soon then why are you even looking in. | sapphireblue1
13/2/2024 16:57 | £6m UT after the bell. | sapphireblue1
13/2/2024 16:54 | noramping. You asked a question but the point was to suggest that easyJet are in a worse position than other airlines. The business case for making the fleet more economical and environmentally friendly is very clear. This is also future debt. What will the turnover be at that point? Easyjet are following a Very sustainable expansion path. Easyjet has by all metrics of comparison a very healthy and manageable debt situation. Since COVID the investment case has transformed. This is especially true of the holiday sector that has an attachment rate of around 4% Jet2 is around 70%. This means that easyJet can add many multiples to easyJet holidays volume with only modest investment in capacity. Debt is a reality in this business and easyJet look very comfortable with theirs. They will double up profit this year if they don't get bogged down with events. This will allow for a more meaningful 18p dividend this time next year. However this investment is all about the share price which is totally unsustainable at this point. | sapphireblue1 |
