18/1/2024 08:26 | The next move will be driven by the Q1 results due on 24th. I am hoping that it slightly better than last year and a good update on summer bookings. I think £6-7 is realistic if the summer is low disruption. | sapphireblue1
18/1/2024 08:23 | Interesting comment on profit warning from Watches of Switzerland, less spend on luxury goods but people spending on hospitality and travel | elo54
18/1/2024 07:24 | Double head and shoulders so expect slippery slope towards 450p support or lower!! Some say 375p as recession takes hold ! | halfpenny
17/1/2024 08:40 | Hurghada to Luton on Sunday was sold out and the prices were high for the last 3 months. Q1 update will be released on 24th January. The dividend date is 22 February. I am expecting the Q1 update to be very positive about summer bookings from Easter on. Q1 was uneventful apart from Israel so it should hold no surprises similar to last year. I am just going to sit tight. I only have 20000 shares but I am expecting a strong rally into the summer if it's disruption free. Good luck. | sapphireblue1
15/1/2024 12:41 | Indeed but there was a intraday reversal around the time that chat around the issue started. It's a non issue for easyJet this time of year and just a maintenance directive. easyjet will be exposed to Leap 1A from 26 onwards but currently they are a small part of the fleet which is far from stretched in the winter. | sapphireblue1
15/1/2024 08:51 | Sapphire, if I’m not mistaken most US airlines shares have taken a hit recently. | noramping
13/1/2024 13:45 | I assume that the volatility is due to emerging issues with the Leap 1A engine requiring a seal replacement. As far as I can see it's limited to a maximum of 24 aircraft and likely much less. In the scheme of things in the summer it would be a problem but this time of year it's just additional maintenance. They have many more on order 2026-28. | sapphireblue1
11/1/2024 23:44 | If a stock spike like this did fistbthink rest assured it will fall back at some point in the day. Sold and bought back in | datait

11/1/2024 16:27 | Datatit, I have sold all my holdings in EasyJet due to your warning. Thanks for the expert analysis. I have also moved to Mars as somebody has also said the world will end one day. | vipulparbat
11/1/2024 13:44 | My target is £10 | peddlers
11/1/2024 13:01 | Datatit, ok juvenile troll, try and be an adult. One day it's takeoff buy buy buy. Now today it's crash, sell sell sell. Stop the teenage trolling, try intellectual analysis. Have you shorted Easyjet? If so, what price and how much? If not, why not if you are so confident? Try and put into coherent words your logic. | cevodniya

10/1/2024 09:26 | The oil price is rarely driven by anything factual. It seems to me that the possibility of ever increasing non OPEC production is driving the price. Of course these mainly US matters are very price sensitive and generally they have much higher costs to cover. Recession plays right into the hands of the budget carriers. It's quite obvious that holidays and travel are well up the list of priorities for people in northern Europe. | sapphireblue1
10/1/2024 08:52 | Amt, you have to question why there is a drop in the oil price? It does look like we technically will be recession soon, world growth figures aren’t good. | noramping
09/1/2024 07:41 | Big fall in oil prices should help | amt
07/1/2024 18:24 | cashandcard "The problems with Max affect Ryanair, not easyJet." That's my point. It's not a concern for EZJ nor it's customers. If any Ryanair passengers flying 737 Max are concerned then they could switch to EZJ. I doubt whether any passengers know the difference between a Max 8 & 9. I think they'd be more concerned that it was a 737 Max, especially with it's history given the crashs a couple of years ago. | sikhthetech
07/1/2024 18:13 | bigbigdave,So it's not all the Max's but this particular model, thanks for clarifying.Cash | cashandcard
07/1/2024 18:04 | Ryanair have 737 Max 8 200's. TUI have Max 8's, that's it for the UK. The Alaska Air issue is with 737 Max 9 | bigbigdave
07/1/2024 17:41 | Sikh,LCCs tend to use a single model or family of aircraft.- Ryanair; Boeing 737 family of aircraft - easyJet; Airbus A320 family of aircraft. The problems with Max affect Ryanair, not easyJet.Cash | cashandcard |
