Ex div 22 Feb 4.5p according to Sharecast but not seen it in any RNS or on the company website.

1 billion seems a lot from the 350 odd million currently. Not even sure if they did a billion at any time in the past. A billion profit should see a ten quid market cap though. I'll be happy with 7 quid (maybe 600 mill profits) which may happen in a couple of years if the world hasn't destroyed itself in the meantime!

It took a while for the stupid market to realise that the bad news for Ryan Air was good news for Easyjet. Plus the Boeing problems can only help Easyjet.

Ryanair cut have put their outlook at the lower end of the range due to removal from some travel agents websites. Presumably that business is going elsewhere. Should give a boost to Easyjet share price today.
I think forecasts were aiming at one billion but can't remember the timescale, couple of years perhaps. So if that happens then share price could easily double or if we get back to lower interest rates then treble.

Good TU, shows good improvement in trading, which was expected.
The prospects have improved significantly since 2022.

The current share price is around 5% above the price I sold my 2 tranches at, the 1st of which was sold a year ago..

I'm currently on the sidelines for reasons previously mentioned.

Yeah risk/reward not many better shares out there at the moment. Could be another Rolls Royce or Marks. Stay long and strong and you will be rewarded handsomely.

Agreed. It's a strong steer to expect a big year. £6-7 in the summer looks very achievable.
Short term through £5.50 looks a good place to consolidate.

Mr Euro unfortunately surprises are part of the business. A strong summer is built in the winter but they still need relative calm to actually deliver.
I am sure much will happen as it tends to but we should see a trend up from here.

This is all about the summer. So far they are ahead on volume and pricing. This is a clear steer to expect a strong performance this year above and beyond the substantial growth of last year.
Good to see mention that Israels invasion of Gaza had only a temporary impact on the rate of booking bouncing back strongly in November.

I think that we can feel very confident about easyjet. Now it's just for a fickle market to respond.

Excellent call Sapphire. You were more or less spot on.

They need to execute now and avoid any new surprises and it will be a good 2024 for share appreciation.

Looks like a good Q1 performance and strong summer bookings. Exactly as I am seeing in the hospitality business across Southern Europe.
I think that Easyjet are very well placed this year and the share price looks way too cheap.

"We delivered an improved performance in the quarter which is testament to the strength of demand for our brand and network. The popularity of easyJet holidays also continues to grow, with 48% more customers in the period.
