30/11/2023 09:41 | So where is this share price going. Some resistance at £4.50 that will be overcome. It has to go higher than the summer £5 really to make any sense. The massive recovery that they flagged is delivered and now they flag more this current year. Business looks brisk and they will match Q1 last year despite the £80m loss from the middle east flights. Hopefully that situation can normalise quickly but even if it persists the impact will reduce given the fact that they are not booking ahead. Non human resources can be deployed elsewhere until better times are here again. I expect £4.50 to take a push to overcome but once broken £5 will be rapid in my opinion | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 21:20 | I have to agree buying aircraft is a very positive indicator. However easyJet are buying aircraft to increase the seats and reduce the fuel spend. Some will replace existing smaller and less efficient aircraft and some will be additional capacity. Of course an airline should be constantly upgrading and renewing. If they are not it's an immediate red flag. | 504
29/11/2023 20:09 | Buying new planes is a normal thing for an airline. The cost should not be the concern its the finance plan. Im sure the cost is spread over a number of years. Do not forget a new plane with present a saving on maintenance and is more efficient. Furthermore old stock is sold off either as a part exchange plan or sold independently. Knowing an airline is buying new stock is a great indicator to private investors that financially the company has the backing to purchase millions of pounds. Ive made a lot of money on easyJet shares and saved quite a bit flying with them. I believe the business is going in the right direction not only purchasing new planes but other areas of business to expand. Happy days. | 18bells
29/11/2023 17:29 | Sold out will wait for the meet next month if they get approval for big spending on new air aeroplans. | zam1
29/11/2023 16:26 | Buying new aircraft going to cost a bit May hold it back. | onehanded
29/11/2023 16:21 | Top sliced 30% half hour ago. Not sure if the £4.50 can be breached yet. Good profit and holding in cash. Rest let run…… | onehanded
29/11/2023 11:31 | Charlie Munger RIP - Legend! | dancing piranha
29/11/2023 11:22 | Budgets are where the action is. Tight cash and they look for value. Easyjet are very well placed to deliver. The share price should be much higher. | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 10:08 | No doubt. Even with the doom and gloom outlook for the UK. Peeps will want their holdings. Especially after the injustices of being denied travel back in the dark days. Business will be fairly relentless in the coming years (imo). | chiefbrody
29/11/2023 10:06 | Looking forward to getting back to the mid 800p are again, the company is is a far better position than 2 yrs ago. | hamhamham1
29/11/2023 09:55 | Old 15 quid would be about 7 quid in today's money? Twice the number of shares in issue I believe. Hence why I think it's a long road back to 7 quid. | chiefbrody
29/11/2023 09:14 | Short cuts to £15. One step at a time | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 08:49 | I dont think its that long, we can take a few short cuts along the way hehehehe | datait
29/11/2023 08:47 | Cheers Albert 😁 | peddlers
29/11/2023 08:37 | Yes a small start with the dividend as we would expect. Previously it's been at 58p. However it's not a token it's a start. It reflects the lessons learnt from the COVID disaster. They paid their last dividend Mar 2020 as their market collapsed. Don't forget that the share price was around £15 a share at the time. Next year it will be 20% of profit after tax so reasonably around 12-15p can be expected. It's a long road back | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 08:37 | every man and his dog wants in here now lol | datait
29/11/2023 08:32 | This is about to move up quickly folks. | datait
29/11/2023 08:22 | Just checked, last div was 44p. Reinstated 4.5p. Token gesture as a long way to go to get back to the good old days. P/E of around 10. Some may say that's fair enough. Don't think any airline over here is afforded a high P/E given the high risk sector. Still, 2-3 more good years and the div should ramp up to multiples of where it is now. | chiefbrody
29/11/2023 08:20 | Blackhorse is here to ramp the dying dog PFC, he’s as bad a Datatit for ramping. For once tit, provide some backup, facts are EZJ is basically trading where it was pre announcement and the fun and games that were played out in driving the share price down, there’s nothing saying it won’t happen again? | noramping
29/11/2023 08:19 | Blackhorse it will settle down but in a new range. As you are looking for an entry I see why you want to talk easyJet down but look at the recovery so far, clearly the share price has a very long way to go before this makes any sense. | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 08:12 | shares in demand now. | datait
29/11/2023 08:07 | Added PFC & waiting here sensation to settle down | blackhorse23
29/11/2023 07:55 | Increasing capacity and security of the business at their largest base. A new base at Birmingham operating in the spring targeting holiday and expat travel. Offering choice of departure airport is a big deal with UK transport coasts. This brings in a huge population within easy reach of the airport. Airport choice is the primary factor for most when booking. | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 07:44 | So you are upset by the seasonal change in timetable. This is a business not a charity. If there are no flights or reduced flights it's because they don't see the viability of the business at that time. Why should they operate some routes at a loss. Why does this make them bad. The environmental impact of aviation is high enough without half empty flights. YoY there are more flights and more seats. I don't know what else you want. | sapphireblue1
29/11/2023 07:09 | It's no flights on operation , sad how they will make money . 60% flights cut down during December & January | blackhorse23 |
