Back in June FinnCap upgraded #DX. eps forecasts for June '22 by 20% to 2.3p and target price from 51p to 57p against current 31p share price so could be buying opportunity ahead of results next Monday.

So a (one day short of a) 4 week delay. I've seen entire audits done faster than that.

Let's hope so. Meanwhile, another day goes by with no news. Hard not to see further drift given that the absence of results after almost 4 months will inevitably fuel nerves amongst holders. I personally struggle to understand why they have been unable to update the market - it's not as if GT are a small outfit. They must surely be able to provide the company with a hard date for getting the audit done - and one would expect that much of that audit would have been carried out prior to the 6th October RNS?

Agreed. We all pick a price/time or time/price to buy/sell. I personally felt warmth from the responsiveness of the Company Secretary's response out of office hours

The problem is, when the results are finally announced and there are no issues, the share probably wont return in the short term to where it started. For long term holders that's not a real issue but for those who, for whatever reason, have to sell or are frightened out of the shares its an actual cost caused by Grant Thornton. They cannot stay auditors...

I am a holder and was very concerned about the lack of results so I emailed the Company Secretary mid September asking why no results. He confirmed that it was an auditor capacity issue at that time. He reconfirmed that today in another email exchange. Their guidance continues. I also said you might want to change auditors as it distracts from the real position here. It was noted.

What is going on with Grant Thornton? Almost 4 months since the year end and no news about when we might have audited accounts for that 12 months. A company that has worked so hard to rebuild its credibility is letting its owners crown with this information vacuum.

I think the normal deadline for publishing accounts is 4 months (so in DX. case early November) but this was extended by 2 months due to Coronavirus. Failure to meet the timetable would result in the shares being suspended. I wouldn't have thought that was likely.

The AGM date is scheduled for 25 Nov. I think the results need to be published before then but not sure of the legal position.

As Stemis notes the company would have to issue an RNS the moment they become aware of something materially different to the guidance they've given.
