According to FinnCap forecast, they are expecting a 0.5p dividend in the interims.

will be paid in the summer. important to get on dividend lists to attract a new type of shareholder. Many institutions have technical restrictions on non div paying holdings, and this one will go from 0% to 5% immediately - very unusual. Might take a year, but this will re-rate no problem - or fall to private equity.

As far as I can see they have never paid an interim dividend (last divi 2014 or 2015), will be interesting to see if they do. A ha'penny would only dent the cash pile by £3m....

Recently bought these.

Their last holdings notification prior to the two recent RNSs was that 18.993% / 109m shares in July 2020 (diluted since). So yeah, they have sold down about 15m since then (this month) realising a tidy bag of profit.

Hopefully they want to stay along for the ride and retain some of the holdings!

Agreed....will be fascinating to see if DX. continues to rise today when markets open....

Wincanton - maybe not a DIRECT comparator, but trades at 5* EBITDA with a c.2-3% yield. Implies that DX should naturally rise to a similar multiple (50-60p) and once the 1.5p dividend is in the market, that would also then be at 5* and 2-3% yield.

AND trading will have been strong over xmas, and there could even be bid interest from Lloyd Dunn, who is clearly bored and sitting at home watching things carefully and wants his baby back.

No bear signs here at all. DYOR etc, but this looks like a RARE opportunity to me

I see xpd had a takeover offer this morning... Bodes well for DX.

It's a while since we've had the normal cycle of reporting at DX but, when we have, we've got a trading update at the beginning of February and interims beginning of March. Hopefully they'll be sufficient to push the share price a way through 30p, especially if we get the forecast interim dividend of 0.6p and it confirms DX. on track for an EPS of 3.5p and cash of 7.3p/share for the year

So EV likely to be now IMO around £150-160m, with EBITDA of c.£40m, net cash and dividend yield...great outlook statement so how hammered will it be? AND if it is, will it leave it vulnerable to a bid? DYOR
