When is a contract a partnership?

I suspect DX and Euronics have committed to a more formal arrangement where DX already used deliver white goods for them on call, this deal looks to expand something which was already happening and roll it out on a regional basis. It shifts DX towards becoming a more sophisticated and integrated logistics business like Clipper rather than dial-up delivery, operating services in customer livery.

EDIT - but it says nothing whatsoever about resolving corporate governance issues.

I think it shows that, whatever the corporate governance issues are with finalising the accounts, DX is continuing the job of growing and developing the business...

Except until we know what the matter is that caused the announcement it's impossible to say whether it was poorly announced or whether they literally had no choice as to what they could say. One thing for sure is that Meidar isn't there to look after our interests; it's to look after Gatemore's...and the two 'may' not be the same.

Personally I'd rather the board just got on with running the business to take it to the level where a sale in the interests of long term holders. If they do that the share price will look after itself

No - I mean in terms of future RNS releases - clearly they've shown some naivety here. If Mr. Meidar's only task is to read, review and flag what likely market reaction is to an RNS he'll be worth his weight in gold. I worked for a large corporate plc many year back and balked when I saw our investor relations guy was on £200k - as soon as I saw RNS releases he was worth every penny.

Well its good news in that it makes Gatemore insiders and restricts their dripping of shares into the market.

As to directly affecting returns to shareholders, it's pretty irrelevant, unless they are going to try and force a premature sale of the company, in which case it's a negative...

It's all about the new auditors checking the work of the old auditors as due diligence - and those new auditors being short staffed hence taking longer than normal.No irregularities suspected or found - it's just that the new auditors have been shat on before when taking on new work.

Great so Gatemore RNS on directorship

to me a massive positive and should really see these shares through 30p+ DYOR

Gatemore director will be active IMO pushing for higher returns to shareholders and quicker

Likewise why would he join the board if there were financial irregularities? To me this continues to point to disclosure/corp gov issues and hapless management in that regard as I have posted. Guesses I admit, but my view.
