19/10/2023 14:18 | From E&E: New climate disclosure rules coming for big companies US companies that trade on European stock exchanges could be subject to new climate disclosure rules as early as January, with additional rules expected to take effect by 2025 that could impact more than 3,000 US companies. Many companies have already begun preparing for the EU's rules, which are more comprehensive than the Securities and Exchange Commission's proposal. The SEC is still working to finalize its approach, but will likely complete the process before the 2024 election. Full Story: E&E News (10/17) | ![]() mondex
19/10/2023 13:52 | No Co. Buyback yesterday , DEC falls back even with such juicy dividend . Cannot see DEC going anywhere soon | ![]() stevensupertrader
19/10/2023 12:31 | DEC is riskier than the Treasury, but at 3X the return, it seems a reasonable risk to take. Fingers and toes crossed. | ![]() 1knocker
19/10/2023 11:35 | US 10 Yr Treasury now 4.96%. That's a new high. | ![]() cassini
19/10/2023 11:08 | Lab305 unless they feel the share is going fall a bit more then they can buy more for less. | ![]() oneillshaun
19/10/2023 10:32 | What is Dec P/E ??? Must be close to 1 . | ![]() t 34
19/10/2023 10:04 | Yep. They are sending all the wrong messages. This stop start half hearted approach is extremely damaging to sentiment . Below £1 is bad but this is deplorable. | ![]() lab305
19/10/2023 09:05 | Seems somebody has forgotten about buybacks | ![]() oneillshaun
17/10/2023 12:53 | Interest rates are trying to rise again - US 10Y is 4.77% right now after falling back to 4.6something late last week. It peaked at 4.88% during the wobble a couple of weeks ago. Given DEC's shareprice woes are clearly sensitive to rates (rightly or wrongly) I see continued weakness until the bond market stabilises. | ![]() cassini
17/10/2023 11:53 | Steven, FYI: US gas price down >51% YoY. This is primarily what DEC sells & not oil. | ![]() mondex
17/10/2023 08:14 | Things are improving. 250k buybacks yesterday and far fewer transactions but for more significant amounts. May be too early to tell but it looks like they are getting serious at last. | ![]() lab305
16/10/2023 14:56 | Yes but look at the NG price | ![]() tom111
16/10/2023 14:44 | DEC now on the downward spiral a and retest the low again - GOOD LUCK everyone | ![]() stevensupertrader
16/10/2023 14:22 | Sp is struggling to go above 74p | ![]() stevensupertrader
16/10/2023 14:20 | Goodness - who the hell wants to buy this dead donkey, just ask around even at this extraordinary time when oil price is over $86 per barrel and even with almost daily buyback . | ![]() stevensupertrader
16/10/2023 13:13 | At 73p they are paying out 19.69% per year at today's exchange rate. The low exchange rate was cited as the reason for the first buyback scheme last year. That was executed much more vigorously but only lasted 28 days after we resumed the slide. I sincerely hope they are planning something to get us out of this . If the finances are sound could not a predator snap them up for 90p and get a bargain ? | ![]() lab305
16/10/2023 12:11 | Ex Dividend date 30th November. 4.375 USC paid 29th December. Only paid in full in a SIPP. | ![]() 2wild

16/10/2023 07:27 | 200k not bad very late on Friday at 4pm. The graph shows the shares were just spiking down again towards the day's low and that was reversed . If that was everyday and say 400k to 500k I am convinced that the price would stabilise. I don't understand if institutional selling has brought the share so low why there have been no holding declarations for some time . Anyone ? | ![]() lab305
15/10/2023 11:02 | Even I bought some :) | ![]() marksp2011
15/10/2023 11:01 | many many companies pass a "10%" buyback resolution in their AGMs. Most don't do it and never really intended to do it - what it does enable a company to do is but back the stock of a major holder should that be a good idea and remove a stock overhang. | ![]() marksp2011
15/10/2023 10:30 | I also notice a few director purchases this months, not large amounts but they are top ups to existing positions they already hold. Current yield @75p = 16% gross - after deducting 15% US tax | ![]() owenski
15/10/2023 10:24 | Northern hemisphere 'winter' is quite a long period, gas use can remain elevated for 5 months. Just saying. | ![]() owenski
14/10/2023 09:03 | Sold on Thursday having made a small profit I expected this to move up quicker after the big drop but it seems to be going backwards again sentiment is not with this company atm.Got back into SEPl with the results coming in a few days oil prices going through the roof and a deal with Mobile on the horizon seems a good place to be dyor aimo | ![]() tom111 |
