29/8/2024 07:43 | Good morning dumper1 and all :) Excellent find ! "....RNS Number : 9115Z CyanConnode Holdings PLC 28 January 2022 CyanConnode Holdings PLC ("CyanConnode Holdings plc" or the "Company") Director dealing The Company has been informed that, as result of a distribution made to beneficiaries of an estate that David Johns-Powell, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, is an executor of, there has been a change in his beneficial interests held in CyanConnode Holdings plc. 3,176,656 ordinary shares of 2 pence each in the Company, have been transferred to other beneficiaries at a price of 28.3 pence per Ordinary Share. Post this transactions, David Johns-Powell has an interest in 16,117,360 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 7.26% of the Company's total voting rights...." Worth noting my emphasis in bold: 1.A transfer to beneficiaries is not a real sale in my book - probably assets being passed on within the family for various tax planning and business reasons. Assets being relocated into other younger family member portfolios often following a bereavement and execution of a Will - yes, we are all mortal - people die and assets get re-distributed. 2. Holding 16m+ shares and being one of the largest private shareholders in the company is worth noting. Not exactly selling out or sold out. 3. Not sure how many on here have actually met the gentleman and understood the nature and extent of his business interests.....I have several times. His initial £1m investment in CYAN was to take advantage of an EIS offer.... 4. Posting material on a public BB that could be potentially construed as libel or slander can be very expensive to defend against a "Lloyd Name".....yes, the BoD do read this and other boards. | multibagger

28/8/2024 20:16 | ITT - your last. No argument, but why make a game changing announcement without the detail of how the game is to be played. Your 8564,I haven't been paying attention. When was the relationship sale disclosed to the market? And the share price at that date? | bscuit
28/8/2024 18:30 | This 250 SM project hasn't just landed out of the blue. All parties have had years & years to work out how it's to be funded. | inthetin
28/8/2024 18:06 | Hi DTB, look at the prospective Cash Flows......we don't know what reliefs they have negotiated, at what impact to the GM. .Rapidly growing revenue is going to stress most businesses - paradoxically, a slower roll-out may be easier to fund with Working Capital - but this is now a land-grab situation IMHO. | tightfist

28/8/2024 17:09 | What's their target price ? | hatfullofsky
28/8/2024 16:33 | Very strange (and slightly suspicious) day. They finished yesterday with an Indian order book of 6.6m and started today with one of 13.1m. Given that, based on our original order book, we were forecast to make a trading profit in FY25, these new numbers should have been a game-changer. And yet...NADA. Be good to get the thoughts of TF and Multi on today's trading. Given that we are due to be in about £3m profit in FY25 and have already covered about 80% of that, shouldn't we actually be generating free cash very soon? It's all very odd. | derek ten bag
28/8/2024 11:28 | Zeus note states CC "has secured favourable payment terms and should receive initial payments ahead of related semiconductor supply orders and payments". Their forecast for FY25 is unchanged. | chrysalis99
28/8/2024 09:55 | Yes, I also focussed on today's Global Player description..... however, Intellismart is linked to EESL, and EESL have an arm within MENA (recall that old RNS). And CC now have a finger-tip in MENA. Confusing isn't it, and potentially Global.... | tightfist
28/8/2024 09:52 | Hi Bscuit Do you remember who sold at 28p (the absolute peak)? Yes, family members of the BoD. Say no more. ITT | inthetin
28/8/2024 09:46 | IMHO another Funding option is that CCI become an AMISP and minority holder in multiple SPV's, partnering with cash-rich Infrastructure players. Think Genus/GIC partnership reinvented? | tightfist
28/8/2024 09:45 | Morning ITT. Just read your post on the other site and I agree with it entirely. In fact the idea that this order package is not from Intellismart was one of my first thoughts on reading the RNS. My rationale is that we tend to think of them as very India-focussed and yet the RNS talks about a global player. That kind of narrows the field a bit as far as I can see. Genus? They would surely fill the bill. Multi? Any thoughts? | derek ten bag
28/8/2024 09:43 | its own the RNS is just fluff. Would have been far better if the working capital issue had been pre-addressed and advised in the RNS. My initial reaction was where is working capital coming from. Certainly kicking myself for not selling near the top the 500k which I had bought @2p about five years ago. I had bought another 100K, so still in profit but will we see that sort of price again – I I doubt it. The RNS and failure to address the working capital issue makes CC vulnerable a takeover – 12p? | bscuit
28/8/2024 08:53 | Agree heading nowhere fast until funding clarification. | pillow
28/8/2024 08:41 | The 'control' is JC & HP's failure to demonstrate that they have a clue how to run a business and make a profit. The bigger the sale, the bigger the loss. | inthetin
28/8/2024 08:41 | Definitely some selling going on in the background, somebody is taking this liquidity event to exit. Fears over funding, yes. Their Going Concern statement stated : "At the end of June 2024 the Group had cash reserves of £1.1 million. However, should the Group require additional cash to cover working capital, as a result of the targeted rapid growth, there could be a requirement for additional funding for this. The Group is discussing working capital funding solutions with banks, particularly in India, and it is believed that since the Indian entity was profitable for FY24, a suitable facility could be secured." Either a facility or an investment from IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited (IntelliSmart)on whatever terms | hatfullofsky
28/8/2024 08:35 | Looks like some controlled selling to keep the price down. | daddy warbucks
28/8/2024 08:23 | Pitiful market reaction thus far. RNS needed to confirm they will NOT be fundraising in near future IMO. | pillow
28/8/2024 08:19 | Hi MB; Yes, it is great news indeed, hopefully a sign of more contracts to come!.With "a global partner" and circa 70% during installation. Not so confident about your module pricing assumption........ | tightfist
28/8/2024 08:16 | This is looking increasingly like a company that private equity will swallow. If the industry doesn't buy it, then they will .....and take the longterm cashflow benefits. | markingtime
28/8/2024 08:08 | I see both Panmure and Zeus have refreshed notes out this morning, will be interesting to see what/if they have to say about funding mechanisms and Working Capital - someones are going to swallow hard (£600m?) to eventually install 6.5m modules within the AMISPs. | tightfist
28/8/2024 08:08 | Good morning all :) Fantastic news !! 6.5m order worth about $130 million dollars over 10 years when our market cap is less than £25m !! | multibagger |
