10/9/2024 08:30 | Zeus note just out:- "We reintroduce DCF analysis (using a 15% discount rate and 3% perpetual growth rate) which gives a preliminary valuation estimate of 26p per share." GL ITT | inthetin
10/9/2024 08:27 | Either that or they dump everything at 20 and take the profit, but I’m sure that never happens here ;) (well not in the last 6 months anyway!) | dumper1
10/9/2024 08:09 | It is interesting that a family office is now on board (and could be the largest shareholder depending on whether others chipped in yesterday). They have a whole spectrum of investment opportunities, not just UK small caps and have actively decided to tie up a fair old chunk of change in a micro cap quoted on AIM (which is still to deliver any consistent profitability or cashflow). I can't imagine that their due diligence was superficial either. The only way they will monetise this is through significant growth and delivery from CYAN, to bring in a wider investor base, or a corporate transaction. | cousinit
10/9/2024 07:50 | Just the 10% traders taking their profits.I am wondering if next week ( after the new shares are admitted), will we see another order being won? | daddy warbucks
10/9/2024 07:30 | I wonder if we will see a load of stock dumped today to halt any rise? (This is said in jest….) | dumper1
10/9/2024 07:19 | Well not sure about that. It was obvious a fund raising was required so its been a big weight on the share price which realistically should be about 20p However yesterday its obvious that the premium was known. Virtually unheard of to get a premium these days. Now nothing to hold the price back. | amt
10/9/2024 06:56 | The price of the fundraising appears to have been 'guessed' by the market for the last 4 months.. | drw1
10/9/2024 06:51 | Yet again we see price movements on AIM that seem to reflect information that has not been published. Cash raises normally at huge discounts these days so it's very positive to be at a premium. I hope late trades will be investigated. | amt
10/9/2024 06:35 | IMHO this new, successful raise may prove the point to a potential suitor to raise a JV offer - IF Cyan have must-have technology......combined with the recent 6.5m India LoA, it is reassuring. | tightfist
10/9/2024 06:32 | Good morning all :) A very warm welcome to Rivaldo - a seasoned and successful investor with quite a following ! I believe I met him at a Mello event in Derby many moons ago. Could be an interesting day with the share price now underpinned at 9p. Let's see if the market takes note and catches up as the Directors are putting in £295k and we have a strategic investor coming in with £3m. The biggest single transaction to our equity base which will now expand by about 55.55m. I take this fund raise as very positive and with part of the proceeds going into setting up a Hardware R&D Lab (probably in India - given cost advantage and skill base). To me this signals long term intentions for our Indian business and our overall global ambitions and on the other hand does not signal an intention to sell the whole company just yet ! Value has to be created and added to our current position it would seem. With all these building blocks in place - UAE Office, CYAN AMISP accreditation, 6.5m meter order/$120-130m, £5m cash, a possible sale of a stake in Indian CYAN and another 200m+ meters to go after just in India with another 200m+ in RoW - let's hope we are not far off a significant re-rate in our share price ! Good luck all :) | multibagger
10/9/2024 06:13 | Could have been worse....at least not heavily discounted and the company have cash | molatovkid
09/9/2024 22:20 | Whoever they are, have they even got the £3M? Can't wait until tomorrow to find out what other sh*te is going to be served up. | inthetin
09/9/2024 21:19 | Interesting you choose to exit when funding has been secured, this is a much better investment now. | hatfullofsky
09/9/2024 20:54 | The rns was timed at 18.21, but the bookbuild was already closed, so no chance of applying for them."The Placing has been arranged by the Joint Bookrunners in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Appendix to this Announcement and the terms of conditions of the Placing Agreement (as defined below), the principal terms of which are set out in the Appendix to this Announcement. The Bookbuild is expected to close not later than 5.00 p.m. (London (UK) time) on 9 September 2024, but may be closed at such earlier or later time as the Joint Bookrunners, at their absolute discretion (following consultation with the Company), determine. | daddy warbucks
09/9/2024 20:44 | Embarrassingly not one of my better investments but thankfully my smallest. Have had concerns for some time now but have decided to rinse my hands tomorrow morning. Thank you all for your input. I have enjoyed reading your posts. | yachtmaster2
09/9/2024 19:04 | Itt, have to agree with you. Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
09/9/2024 19:02 | Oh dear, what a grubby business. Leak? Insider dealing? Call it what you like, it's a disgrace. They can't even be bothered to write the BS up properly. They're such an embarrassing outfit:- * The Issue Price represents a premium of 17.6 per cent. to the closing price on 7.7 pence September 2024, being the last trading date prior to this Announcement; WTF does that mean? Could you let me know when "7.7 pence September 2024" was, please? So predictable. | inthetin
09/9/2024 17:27 | RNS News gentleman and ladies :) £5m to be at 9p raised at a 17.6% premium via an ABB.....with £3m to a strategic investor. Directors are taking an aggregate £295k.... Explains the sharp spike today ! This should underpin the share price and a very robust vote of confidence :) | multibagger
09/9/2024 17:26 | RNS - placing | mirabeau
09/9/2024 15:26 | That depends on the nature of the news. Some events can be widely predicted and lead to strong buying before the news. For example, see SCLP, which is up by about two thirds from the lows a few months ago. If you want to know why, you need to know what they are doing and to compare the last six months for Summit Pharmaceuticals. In the case of Cyan, we can all see the orders rolling in and know that the company is on the cusp of revenue rises - the unknown is how quickly that will show through in the share price. | markingtime
09/9/2024 15:11 | Action Stations!!! | pillow
09/9/2024 14:29 | Hi SBP IMO, these buys are nothing to do with Zeus's latest note or people taking 11 - 12 days to read a 6.5M order RNS. I'll say no more (for now). Happy that the share price is going up - I have a reasonable amount of cash tied up here that's being doing nothing for too long. We're still in the fixed share price range for now though. If we can break through to 8.5p and close there, I'd be happier. GL ITT | inthetin
09/9/2024 14:12 | itt (not me with the thumbs down by the way) I'm not convinced this is leaking news (could be of course) I think it might be investors like rivaldo putting 2 and 2 together and getting 4. A 6.5m order is seriously substantial and sets a reasonable expectation for more significant orders to come. Also, as rivaldo pointed out, this financial years numbers (we're almost half way through ) look very impressive and they are already nailed on, without any further wins in the next 6 months. I know most of us have been here forever and are pretty fed up with the wait, but if you are looking at it now for the first time it is a pretty damn impressive risk/reward. Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
09/9/2024 13:56 | You can give me a thumbs down all you like but it's wrong. | inthetin |
