26/9/2024 18:12 | He doesn't have to say the cost of the shares bought to date and therefore an implied average AFAIK. He just needs to inform how many he has bought this time and at what price plus the total number of shares he has. | homebrewruss
26/9/2024 17:03 | Oh ok, I didn't realise that. At least not to the point of declaring what his total investment is in £,s at a time of a new purchase. | nick the greek 1
26/9/2024 16:52 | Because he has to, it's a legal requirement to declare all his trades | hatfullofsky
26/9/2024 16:36 | I think another interesting point that hasn’t been picked up on this board (but has by emptyend on LSE) is that why does JC feel the need to express his (to date, very bad) investment decisions by RNS as in letting everyone know his average price!? Unless as I said earlier it’s all part of him letting us know what his exit options (price range) is. All part of the “trigger pull”? Presumably (from this mornings RNS) he is not likely to be letting go for anything less than a significant improvement to his average? That’s a buy signal in itself to me as prior to the recent doubling of orders RNS and in particular a fund raise at a premium I really didn’t expect him to get far past a quick sale to Intellismart as I said at the time. Am glad to say it appears I got that part wrong. | nick the greek 1
26/9/2024 16:33 | Good to see an apparent lack of available stock going into the close. Could only buy around 25k shares. Hopefully bodes well for the morning. | gleach23
26/9/2024 16:26 | Thanks for that NTG. It really does clarify what the plan, such as it is, might be. Someone, somewhere said a long while back that John had a target (a history) of creating a £200m company and then selling, but I for one think that, in Cyan, he will have set his sights much higher than that. The potential for CC in India (which is surely starting to be realised) seems to me to be very substantial. One more sizeable order, similar to the last one would surely confirm that. Almost getting exciting now. Will we get news tomorrow, despite it being a Friday? GLA. | derek ten bag
26/9/2024 16:15 | Agreed We’re not in the business to go this alone after we reach a certain stage (inflection point) and that never has been the BoDs intention in my opinion, all of the potential ie SPVs, Digismart etc are to enhance, assure us of a sale to Intellismart or like. JC is a start up and exit man once he gets a co to a certain stage. You’ve only got to look at the make up of the parent company BoD here ie it’s one person - JC who probably can’t wait to take some time out and retire with a new non exec position on the Indian co! As for the RoW opportunities, once proven ie a majority sale to Intellismart has taken place, the parent company here and thus the RoW opps, will be sold to another entity imo, probably a VC outfit. If JC had intention of doing something other than this he would be strengthening the BoD now and that’s the last thing he wants to do as then he’d lose control. This ship is close to sailing imo. | nick the greek 1
26/9/2024 15:59 | Of course, there are plenty of options. But would you prefer standalone or partner with the contract issuing body ?Not sure how long we'd last as a stand alone entity hogging all those profits with out kick backs to the golden goose | hatfullofsky
26/9/2024 14:32 | Stand by for action | fxl5
26/9/2024 13:36 | ITT; I agree that multiple SPV's are likely to be the way ahead; coupled with the sale of a minority stake in CCI to keep everyone sweet. | tightfist
26/9/2024 13:02 | Isn't there a 3rd - retain 100% of CC India and crack on with JC's SPVs? | inthetin
26/9/2024 12:45 | The contract traction is certainly in CC India and it's now obvious there are a few greedy mouths to feed. 2 scenarios Majority sale of CC India retaining up to 49 %, nice cash injections and dividends, presume the operations will be controlled by the majority entity. Use funds to repeat the model in other APAC areas. Minority sale of CC India, nice cash injection, split of profits, operations retained by CYAN. Use funds to repeat the model in other APAC areas. | hatfullofsky
26/9/2024 12:12 | Afternoon all and many thanks for the excellent analysis over the last few days. Certainly nice to see today's buy by John and the strong move in the share price I have a question though. Someone (may have been you NTG) said the other day that the information they had had access to implied that the show is currently being led by CCIndia. My question is, therefore, what is the role of the main board? Where is the manufacturing being done for the ROW contracts? How would things change if, say Intellismart (or whoever) were to take a majority stake in CCI? Is the main board looking a bit light, in terms of personnel? I'm having difficulty working out the dynamic of all of that. Thoughts on any of these questions would be much appreciated. | derek ten bag

26/9/2024 11:56 | I know it’s a cliche but I really don’t think (today anyway) the MM,s have much stock. I’ve just been offered over 10p for a lot of stock! I suspect we’ll get a tree shake but then hopefully close on a high. Without a seller and even just regular PI,s buying this does move very sharply although the same can be said the other way round as we know! Apologies for quoting the obvious in the last paragraph!! I can’t remember the last time I saw a director buy in the open market here. Why didn’t he just take them in the placing? Maybe he got scaled back like the rest of us! Or maybe it really is a trigger pull! Maybe at long last your learning some “canny” AIM lessons Mr C! Long may it continue.. | nick the greek 1
26/9/2024 11:19 | 50k in the placing, 30k in the open market JC certainly putting his money where his mouth is | hatfullofsky
26/9/2024 11:12 | My break-even excluding trading fees is 18.35p. GLA! | casholaa
26/9/2024 11:08 | Yes, 6.5 m order, £5m+ oversubscribed placing at a premium, Single (new?)£3m investor, rumours of deal with Intellismart, Director purchase, share price going up, it's starting to stack up. (not before time) Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
26/9/2024 11:03 | Sailing soon. | the onedin line
26/9/2024 10:27 | Is it fomo? I mean, they can give themselves loads of shares if they wanted to. (Am I ramping??) | casholaa
26/9/2024 10:21 | Good news today, looks like starting pistol has been fired, about time too.The closed period is of little concern to me as its quite obvious the market has not yet factored in "major new contract"news announced when no one was paying attention. Wakey wakey everyoneThis should be trading around 20p markI think jc knows that and this will get there sooner than later with no news! | pillow
26/9/2024 07:53 | Correct re the close period. Nothing to stop him dealing if there is no concrete, unpublished, price-sensitive info in his possession......and it must be quite rare that he can buy in the market. Its a token gesture though - but not irrelevant. Its rarity should be a signal, I think, even though the size is pretty small. | markingtime
26/9/2024 06:52 | Good morning SBP and all :) Could be an important purchase from a "messaging" perspective from John though I suspect it maybe a more prosaic matter of portfolios and taxes ? Nevertheless interesting as it is just 15 days after a placement at 9p where he took £50k. A resounding vote of confidence. I agree with SBP that what constitutes a "closed period" is, as with many things open to interpretation. I expect the market to view it positively ! Good luck all :) | multibagger
26/9/2024 06:50 | Director share purchase CyanConnode Holdings plc (LSE: CYAN), a global leader in narrowband radio frequency (RF) smart mesh networks, announces that John Cronin, Executive Chairman, purchased 315,689 ordinary shares of 2p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 9.5 pence per share on 25 September 2024. This brings John's interest in the Company's issued share capital to 7,390,092 Ordinary Shares, being 2.06% of the current issued share capital. John also has interests in 5,672,359 shares held jointly in the Company's Joint Share Ownership Plan ("JSOP"), being a further 1.58% of the Company's issued share capital. This brings his total interest over CyanConnode Ordinary Shares to 3.64%. The total amount invested in Ordinary Shares of the Company by John Cronin to date is £1.32 million. | apotheki
26/9/2024 06:32 | He is only precluded if he is party to news that would materially change the share price. Deals in progress which have not yet been signed would probably not count. Has to be a positive when the CEO who already owns a lot of shares buys another 300k, I think ntg had it right risk/reward here is very very good. I have(for me) a large investment and I am looking forward to it coming good. Best regards SBP | stupidboypike |
