15/1/2024 10:01 | Morning tightfist Thanks re 7702, I thought you may well be the man for the job! I did ask DDM similar questions a long while ago but it seemed to fall on deaf ears and he’s getting paid to do stuff like that for Cyanconnode! | nick the greek 1
15/1/2024 09:37 | A few more dropped into my Dealing Account, the contents of which will be bed & ISA'd on or around 06/04/24, as this year's ISAs are chock-a-block. | inthetin
15/1/2024 09:33 | I may be wrong, but wasn't Bjorn listed as either our COO or CTO on the website until very recently? And yet no mention of this in today's RNS. Can anyone clarify? And does that leave the Group Executive a bit light? | derek ten bag
15/1/2024 08:47 | Interesting question - alternatively I was thinking of a possible nascent succession plan for JC? .Sorry to see the loss of Chris Jones, I thought he had a lot yet to contribute in business development strategy..... | tightfist
15/1/2024 08:44 | Good questions NTG, I guess you are trying to scale the credibility of the FY2025 revenue forecasts? With the latest 1m order I will take a fresh look, tightfist | tightfist
15/1/2024 07:25 | Is this appointment good from a governance point of view? | mikejoseph
14/1/2024 23:16 | Until the 18.9M 10p Placing Shares (the non EIS ones) dumping is complete, I doubt that the share price will go far. Maybe another order or two for them to sell into and the deed will be done. As has been said before, there always appears to be a reason why there's never a squeeze put on the share price When there is a demand, there's always plenty of supply. It's as if 'they' don't want it to build up a head of steam. | inthetin
14/1/2024 16:20 | Hi NTG. I suspect most folk on here are mulling the same thing as you are. I am no expert, but I must say that, given the potential and even just on the orders to date, I agree that it does seem significantly undervalued. I feel that there will come a point, hopefully reasonably imminently, when sentiment will change for the better and we will be having these discussions against a backdrop of a much higher trading range. The 1m order from Genus, the orders from Intellismart and also from Montecarlo all concluded, if I remmember, with comments like, 'we look forward to further such opportunities and partnerships'. I take those as being highly significant and reassuring. This week perhaps? Another couple of big orders and, as Del Boy might say, 'the world will be your lobster'. Fingers crossed. | derek ten bag
14/1/2024 15:40 | Can anybody confirm and/or advise on the below please? I’m trying to assess/remember how many meters were definitely awarded to our partners (Intellismart, Genus, MonteCarlo etc) up to this time last year and consequently how many of them (actual no and also percentage wise) went on to be awarded to contractors (such as Cyan) and by when? Also who else got any of them apart from Cyan? I’m pretty sure (from the recent brokers notes) the total no to date of awarded meters with our partners (and others?) is now circa 97 m!? This time last year it was nowhere near this no though I believe circa 100m were out to tender? So does that mean it’s almost a 100% play of tender to awarded? I’m trying to get a comparison of what (might) happen this year based on what did happen (inc percentage wise) last year? This of course may not have any merit going forward but would be interesting at least? Also help us to gauge traction should we get any further orders right quickly. Maybe this is actually a better opportunity (price wise) than it was last year at this time though of course this last year also evidences the reality of timing and the fact the orders might not come through when expected or even at all? Though the recent MonteCarlo order surely evidences further orders will come our way but in what no and when? This looks very under values now but I guess that’s because of the risk reward element in believing further orders will come in the next few months. This time last year I think I remember you all pretty much had an average price prediction for end of fiscal year of about 3 - 4 times todays without the dilution!? TIA. | nick the greek 1
12/1/2024 13:32 | I wouldn't disagree with your assertion ITT although given the increase in senior staff out there it might not mean much for the bottom line at this stage. I would like to see some of that 3.9m backlog getting delivered asap. I think, to bake in a higher trading range, we need another deal or two from the big players. | derek ten bag
12/1/2024 09:43 | Hi SBP It's just a feeling I have. I don't mind being wrong - just putting it out there. Cheers ITT | inthetin
12/1/2024 09:39 | Selling will dry up and smart money move in. Even more tempting takeover target now. | mrs whitebait
12/1/2024 09:35 | Itt, 23/24 for cyan ends in 2 and a half months, so I’m not so sure. An uplift to 24/25 expectations may be more likely I think. Anyway, either would be good! Best regards SBP. | stupidboypike
11/1/2024 20:25 | Good evening all :) Hopefully the start of some long awaited order newsflow this quarter and price holding up either means some "buys" are being flagged as "sells" or a large "buy" order being worked. Just a guess, but I don't think/hope warrant holders will be tempted by less than a 20% return to take some profits given the potential. The RDSS GoI financial incentives time clock is counting down for AMISPs to start the roll out for contracts awarded, hence I agree with DTB and others that this could be a very fruitful period, before the wider market cottons on and we get noticed by tipsters. Won't rule out another large Strategic Framework Agreement (a different kind of SFA !) with Intellismart or some left field strategic agreement given what we saw with Adani/Esyasoft JV. Things certainly looking up market sentiment wise and long may it continue ! Good luck all ! | multibagger
11/1/2024 18:34 | Boadicea, They seem to be relying heavily on Solid State Supplies | estienne
11/1/2024 17:41 | There seems little enthusiasm for stocks in general, even when they announce great news like today.... Hopefully this will take the balance sheet into positive territory, increasing profits going forward. GLA | beeezzz
11/1/2024 17:14 | DTB - who knows what's really going on in any day's trading? That said, I imagine at least a proportion of the participants in the recent placing will be selling their 10p shares for a small profit and relying on their warrants to lock in the potential upside. They've then got a risk-free bet at 15p if Cyan fulfil their potential and the share price goes to the moon - so why wouldn't they? I wish it wasn't the case but I'm afraid it probably is. | johnwall
11/1/2024 16:41 | Interesting, if puzzling, day's trading. Good initial rise followed by mostly sells. Or are some of these buys? Or is a large order being filled in the background? Or is stock being built up ahead of further imminent news? The price has held up pretty well so far, but given the well received news and the very positive comments generally it would be good to think that the share price might kick on up from here over the next few days. Another decent piece of news would certainly help that. | derek ten bag
11/1/2024 16:35 | Estienne (7686) - While it is legimate to query the capacity of a company to deliver on its contracts in a timely manner, this is not a company likely to be caught out on this score. The requirements have been well flagged and it relies on a principle supplier with excellent credentials. The following extract dates from last May but points to the measures being taken to assure supplies of critical technical components of the contract - " Commenting on the follow-on order, John Macmichael, MD of Solid State Supplies, said: "Solid State Supplies has been working very closely with CyanConnode on their longer term requirements to meet the needs of the market opportunity in India. This close collaboration has enabled proactive stock management so that we can both have confidence in being able to meet the delivery dates." John Cronin, Executive Chairman of CyanConnode, added:"We are very pleased to be placing this additional order with Solid State Supplies to support our long term Indian smart metering programme. They have provided us with the reassurance of supply where component shortages have proved one of the greatest challenges in delivering for customers at a time when the smart metering market is growing at pace." 11/1/2024 15:31 | More contracts about to be announced?? So undervalued can't see it lasting much longer. | gotterdammerung
11/1/2024 13:56 | Very good to see this new order from MonteCarlo today. Now lets get an update on Intellismart with a new SFA and an order from Genus! The last two months of the fiscal year in India are usually very likely to be the strongest from what I was advised when there. However plenty of selling going on today so I guess traders exiting from 7.5p after news but likely a decent buy in the background as the bid appears to be holding? | nick the greek 1
11/1/2024 11:23 | as its order book increases, Cyan will be increasingly vulnerable to supply chain issues | estienne
11/1/2024 11:11 | "If I make a good return on my investment here, I feel that it will have been well 'earned'." never a more true word spoken, goes for all of us!!!! Best regards SBP | stupidboypike |
