Hi bubloo

You'll have to upgrade to read the report:-

www.research-tree.com/companies/uk/telecoms-equipment/cyanconnode-holdings-plc/research/longspur-clean-energy/cyanconnode-one-million-module-order/59_6555d125-1f50-436d-b305-6fe84f2c73a4/d33b9108-d00d-4185-8166-eb127772aeb3

Private investors (PI) and institutional investors (II) don't have equal privileges when it comes to being invested in companies like Cyan. All I do is let rip if I'm unhappy about how I see us PIs being treated.

I have never sold a single Cyan share, unlike quite a few of our IIs.

If I make a good return on my investment here, I feel that it will have been well 'earned'.

Great news today. This should be trading around recent high levels. Plenty more orders to follow. Quite an opportunity at currents levels.

bubloo, it's from research tree you can create a free 3 stock week long trial to access it.
It continues...
'the number of subcontractor awards is expected to pick up pace. We have upgraded the number of module deliveries in FY25 and using an assumed market share for CyanConnode of tendered volumes have brought forward module deliveries in 2026 and 2027 to reflect the speed of the roll out of the RDSS scheme. Our FY25, FY26 and FY27 revenue and PBT figures have increased accordingly. Our central case valuation has increased to 30p.'

Longspur are saying:-

"With more than 220m meters out of 250m now sanctioned for tender, the number of subcontractor awards is expected to pick up pace. We have upgraded the number of module deliveries in FY25 and using an assumed market share..."

Good news indeed. Agree with all today's comments. Onwards and, hopefully, upwards. I know I've said it before but we still have 1.3m outstanding to draw down from the Intellismart SFA and, while we shouldn't count our chickens, that would take the Indian order book to 7.6m. Indeed, if we get a similar volume over the year to last year, we could end the year around the 12m mark. I would still like to hear something positive from Genus and/or an expansion of that Intellismart SFA. But a very positive start to 2024. GLA.

John Cronin, Executive Chairman of CyanConnode, commented:

"I am pleased to announce this second significant order from Montecarlo, following our initial collaboration that began last year with the January 2023 order for a similar volume. This new contract for one million Omnimesh Modules is a testament to our standards-based, innovative technology and deep understanding of India's smart metering landscape. It also underscores the growing market acceptance and momentum for our products. This order significantly boosts our total Indian order book to 6.3 million units, with 3.9 million modules scheduled for delivery in accordance with the established project timelines."

Market cap was £54M in Jan'23 with 270M shares.

Now 300M shares - same MC = 18p per share (roughly speaking)

Order For One Million Omnimesh Modules

CyanConnode Holdings plc (AIM: CYAN), a world leader in narrowband radio frequency (RF) mesh networks, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, CyanConnode Pvt Ltd, has received an order from Montecarlo Limited (Montecarlo) for one million Omnimesh Modules, together with Advanced Metering Infrastructure, Standards-Based Hardware, Omnimesh Head-End Software, Perpetual License, and a Support and Maintenance Contract.

The order relates to a smart metering deployment in Nagpur, Maharashtra, with supply of Omnimesh Modules expected to commence within this quarter. The installation will be completed within 27 months and followed by a 93 month Support and Maintenance Contract, which will commence upon completion of the installation phase. Approximately 60% of the contract will be paid during the installation phase, against either (i) letters of credit or (ii) via a trade finance portal with 30-day payment terms. The remaining 40% of the contract will be paid for in equal monthly instalments over the duration of the Support and Maintenance Contract period.

Mr. Mrunal Patel, Joint MD of Montecarlo, commented:

"We are extremely pleased to continue our partnership with CyanConnode, building on our previous successful and ongoing collaboration in Madhya Pradesh. Our strong background in project implementation, coupled with CyanConnode's proven track record in smart metering communications infrastructure in India, instils confidence in the successful implementation of this project. I believe that our combined strengths will pave the way for further such opportunities and partnerships."

Good morning all :)

Fantastic news !

Our first order of 2024 for 1 million smart meters lands !!

I reckon that's worth about £12.50 million to CYAN over the lifetime of the contract with and revenue recognition timelines indicated.

Well done JC, HP and the CYAN team !

Better to lose it slowly than quickly. I think. And talking about slow.....

Can anyone clarify where Bharti Airtel sits in the grand scheme of things? Are they potential competitors or partners? Some orders being mentioned on the other site.

Wrong board bri15?

Profit-taking today, or buyers managing to get in to a flat market at lower levels?
Either way, if JC is listening, tomorrow would be a good time for some positive news. I'm losing the will to live here. Again.

Hi DTB, I get the sense that the orders are being placed by separate legal entities, certainly of the four orders placed during 2023, there were three entities involved. I am thinking the orders cannot be consolidated for legal reasons; timing/immediacy must also be becoming increasingly pressing too. tightfist

Hi TF. I get that. I really meant a volume of orders rather than a single large-volume order. But given the number of awards that have been made, it isn't inconceivable that an order from, say, Genus or Intellismart might be composed of two or three orders of around 500k units each. Who knows?

Hi DTB, I would be delighted to be proven wrong, but I think we had guidance during 2023 that actual orders would be bite-sized - so we need plenty of them, to enable incremental growth and hit the FY2025 revenue target. Looking for large individual orders we may be disappointed, and become disillusioned.......
.
We have recently seen some strategic Framework Agreements such as the Intellismart MOU pressaged on 26.05.2021 with the 3m unit SFA firmed 9 months later on 06.02.2023 - followed by the Alfanar MOU covering multiple geographies on 03.04.2023.
.
So far Intellismart (or a subsidiary) has called-off in far smaller individual contracts. The shape of things to come?, at least in India. tightfist

Recent fundraise would have allayed those concerns for key players placing significant orders and was probably prerequisite for placing the orders.Moons are beginning to allign nicely nowLets hope for some positive contract news soon. 2024 really is the sweet spot for gamechanging transition to a significantly higher market valuation.

Obviously they must be able to fulfill these orders, I wonder what there maximum production facility can produce each month, this must be stated in the negotiations with clients..Confidence is a big player in contract decisions.
